Hello guys, I'm on a low budget right now and looking for Tokens/Crypto that would be really good to invest on. Recently, I was looking for DeFi tokens and kept my eye on Fantom and SushiSwap. But right now, I think I can afford and buy more Fantom once the price got lower.

Do you still have other suggestions or ideas that you think might work on investing DeFi tokens? What are the good DeFi tokens that you think that would be profitable in the next few years?

The reason to buy altcoins right now is because of possible altcoin season that can happen at any time, why waiting for the price of Fantom to go down before you will buy? Is the price already surging very high? Cos that's the only reason to halt, anyways the choice is on you, it's always a wise plan to buy cheap and sell high, goodluck

It might work and i have been investing a lot of money on UNI when it was trading at the bottom value and i got almost 7x return from this coin.
You have need to invest your money into the promising defi. If you are investing in the legit defi and it doesn't matter how long you wanna hodl your coin and that will always be very profitable

Sushiswap and UNI are more satisfying to me than some DeFi projects because of their use case, they will stay alive for a very long term, this is something we have to consider when choosing projects, another ones I have interest in is ChainLink, Polkadot and Avalanche, it's always about high quality use cases

I do have SUSHI and FTM holding/trading on KuCoin right now. Both have good reputation and trading volume on KuCoin coz' they have their very own DeFi Trading Markets and I guess your right 'bout Fantom, wait for dips before you buy coz' FTM might get some correction around this week. Anyways, if you want other tokens aside from DeFi's I suggest you to check XRP, ETH & LTC.

Can you share how much money you have?
It can help us to give a suggestion what coin you can buy.
But even if we suggest buying the coin, you must analyze more to get the other information related to the coin you want to buy.
I suggest you not look at the DeFi projects because we do not know if that is a good selection among the other coins.
It is better to choose the other coins than to select the DeFi projects. But if you can accept the risk, you can still choose any low DeFi price to buy.

Not all DeFi projects pal, we know that most DeFi projects are built on complete lies, they have zero decentralized capability to offer the world, but very few are damn serious about their decentralized Finance, Chainlink for example and few others, I'm sure they will worth the hold, do not be surprised when you see DOT at 100$ though

If you don't know which Defi tokens to invest and you want to invest in it, just going and buy DEFI prep you will be fine, it is good for people hat believe in a market and that the price would rise but do not know which one to buy. For now most of the big DEFI tokens have pumped significantly and some have even reached new ATHs recently, you don't wan to buy something that has pumped and will likely correct and dump on you

My only suggestion : Stop investing in DeFi/ICO/shitcoins and move to bitcoin.

Now your first reaction might be "Bitcoin is costly right now!" - I would like to as how long you have been reading the charts or are you only checking altcoin prices. Point is this price rise is the good thing that happens to bitcoin only and the hodlers are reaping this profit.

I understand you are on low budget, but instead of spending that on shittokens and shitFi projects, why not hold onto that till you get enough to buy some bitcoin? After all, the long term value and possibility of making a big profit is there with bitcoin. It is not that such profits will not happen with shitFi and all, but we long time users who have been watching them from their start dont trust them.

Do you really think that DeFi tokens will survive for years? Not even a year completed but most of the projects faded away and very few remains in the market and this is only because we are in the extreme bull run for the past few months so in the next few months almost everything will be going to zero for sure.

I look at most new crypto projects like money making opportunities, for short term only because they aren't built to last for long like Bitcoin and Ethereum, I will never hold any DeFi projects for long term because they are more dangerous, I prefer to just flow along and make some money out of every altcoins I see

That's what I think with them and just the same hype as what it's getting today with the icos before. It is encouraging to invest in it when you see a lot of people and investors tie together with such projects and experienced profiting from it. If you guys know how and when to sell on it, you should be good on it but if you're just investing because you see others making money on it, you should be sticking to bitcoin, and then next to it is ethereum.

Agreed, the defi coins can't be used as long term investment but there must be exceptions for the legit defi coins.
There are some defi coins that gained the massive pump but it goes down again. We must also try to watch the trend that's happening with bitcoin whether it was showing a good sign or not.

We are all waiting for altcoin season that expect3d to happen this year. but if the trend of defi will slowly grow for the next more month before the altseason started then possible that it will only increase for small percent we expect  from altseason. but not all of them will have a good return in the long term thats why you need to diversify and choose only a coins/tokens that you think will keep up with altseason .

unfortunately no one really knows in the future the trend of the various tokens, that's why it is better to diversify and invest on several fronts, i would recommend exchange tokens such as uni, 1inch, twt and bnb

UNI, 1inch , bnb already become overvalued tokens and you will put yourself into the big risk by investing in the coins that already traded at the peak price
Why don't just bet into the new coins? that would be much more profitable than it.
So many times people have been starting to think if the defi trend will come back and it's back right now. We have so many new legit defi.

Since you are looking towards next few years, then I think Dex tokens like UNI is a good one. Reason is that, UNI is from Uniswap which you already know and that exchange has turned out great and I won't be mistaken for saying that it is the best decentralized exchange currently. Now bringing that idea of the best decentralized exchange means that, Uniswap will try their best to maintain their token growth and this of course will lead to more value. Also, comparing the price before and the price now, it is clear that the token is highly valuable now and doesn't look like the team is slowing down anytime soon. 1inch is another that looks good but, UNI is more better in my own opinion.

You might be trap with all of this SushiSwap just saying, there are a lot of clone out there, so the market might get saturated. So if I'm going to choose the lesser of the two evil, I will go with Fantom.

Just be careful with your hard earn money and not to fall for this scammers out there. Check the official announcement and follow their official social media accounts just to be sure.

You can choose a DeFi project that already has a good market cap, I think LINK can be an option for investment, this coin has good potential. of course you need to have your own analysis before investing.
