CRAFT BEER TOKEN - CRFT

CRFT is a simple token, released to aid in helping the hospitality industry.
Bars, pubs, restaurants, venues, breweries, ... are closed due to the local and federal restrictions due to the ongoing COVID pandemic all over the world.

As a brewer and beverage wholesaler, I know how this affects me and my clientele (pubs/bars/restaurants) and some are at the end of their rope.

Because of this and my activity (passive) in the crypto community, a token was the next logical step. Funded by the sale of this token that can be used in our own online shop, we will set up a buyback program to REGISTERED HOSPITALITY industry partners only.

This buyback will consist of rewarding the REGISTERED PARTNER with a $2 MARKET VALUE per CRFT token send to us, payed out in ETH/BNB/USDT/BUSD/BTC on the Binance Smart Chain.
They will also receive a complete video training for setting up their Point Of Sale wallet, turning in their rewards, moving from Binance Smart Chain to their bank account. We will also give them access to our web3 solution for online or POS sales.

Our own webshop will sell beer merch from REGISTERED PARTNERS or larger brands. In our shop 1 CRFT = 95% of market value. The 5% will be used to fund the buyback program.

Our aim is to reach a stable price of $2, but if the market decides a higher price our REGISTERED PARTNER will be free to sell their tokens on the open market.

I suggest to lock your presale thread and move it in here, you can combined it, that's fine and no one will complain. It would be better than one of them being erased. Just keep there is only 1 ann thread.

Yes, should lock the other one and maintain only one thread. And also, I don't know if people are buying token these days even without the official website in place? People are smarter now, I believe. If you don't have anything to offer yet, would be hard to attract potential investors. Users are now not that dumb buying tokens without solid basis. And to add the fact that it is under BSC platform. Not many users are well-versed using such network.

Hey mandor, Twinkledoe,

Yes, I saw some projects do it that way and thought it was the way it was done. But it's more logical to keep one thread updated than jumping to and from.
I combined the thread and closed the other one. Will also be easier on me.

I also know people got smarter, as well they should. At the end of the day, it's me asking for money to build something and I should be as transparant about that as I can. The launch was a bit premature, that is true. But that doesn't mean I'm not motivated to carry this out. It's a direct link with my real life business and friends worldwide.

I'm finishing the website and whitepaper asap, but do still have a dayjob and I'm rather surprised at the PMs/DMs I've gotten on twitter from hospitality related accounts, so I'm going to have to go through them first as well.

The choice for BSC was an easy one, namely the transaction costs. On BSC they are a fraction as what they are on ETH and it's a growing platform build by Binance.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to post them here or on the discord.

the mission of this project is pretty good which is very related to real life, but I want to know who the Craft Beer Token project team is, and I'm currently just waiting for the website & whitepaper so I can understand it in detail

Hey asyakashi,

That's a very valid point. At the moment I'd like to remain pseudo-anonymous (who digs deep enough can easily find out who I am) for my opsec.
Once there are funds to work with, I'm obliged (to you and myself) to come out and make myself known. Personally I set the softcap very low. Even if it's a few $xxx, that would make me able to start at least locally.
But I'd like to have at least some sponsors, partners or investors before I put my face and reputation out there for eternity...

We can always do a 1-on-1 on Discord or twitter but I preffer not to get too ahead of myself as I've already launched without a website or whitepaper.

It is best to complete the website before the end of the presale. You launch the plan before project specific information is released, it is pretty hasty.

Hey culuuton,

I'm working on it   Wink
Both launching on mainnet and the need for this project made me move fast.

I'd like to explain the need: Currently hospitality, brewery, winery and distillery have it very hard with lockdowns and mandatory closures. A lot of businesses are reaching the end of their ropes and the re opening is taking a lot longer than we thought. That's why we need to move now to be availlable for those in need and to go into production before their businesses go under, but also before the lockdowns end as then there will be less public interest to support from a distance and people will say "we'll go drink there next week or so".

But I understand it, it's a very valid comment, and I'm working on it as fast as I can

Regarding the situation in the world right now and looking to the closed bars, pubs and other, I think the idea of this token is interesting and timely Wink

Thanks kurchuney,

Yes, the need is very high now to offer them perspective or at least a way to help themselves.
And that will only increase every day they can't open!

Phew, I see you have a lot of things to do, but without those website, wp and/or teammate information I doubt the current sale will work, surely you've heard, people will not carelessly put their money into projects that provide minimal information, even if having a good partner doesn't ensure the sale will succesfully.

Isn't this logic a little bit reversed? As you (and mostly every crowdfunding projects out there) basically asking for funds here, you need to prove your credential as a sign of good intention before asking for funds, and not after funds are collected.

I even heard it as a suspicious promise, because the one that promised to do so would usually disappear when the promise was collected. Yes, that is very much needed before the sale occur, so people know who is behind the background of this project. Anyway, the sale through google form is cheap old trick while at IEO people stills scared to invest.

Hey mandor, miiike, necromastery,

True, I can't put anything against that.
Although, people enough who ape in much more strange projects  Cheesy

But to be frank, Yes I'm going to do a full DOX. It will probably be on the website soon(tm). The only thing I'm kind of "scared" for is my reputation in the niche and my opsec as a "crypto project leader"... But that doesn't way up to what I owe potential investors: full transparencyi!

[edit]
The google form is only for a Discord role (should state that clearer) and has NO financial impact. If the account receives funds, CRFT is sent back to THAT address directly so DON'T use the BINANCE EXCHANGE address, use your own wallet!
[/edit]

So yea, You can call me Joris if you want (with this info and some minor social media digging you'll find me) or CraftBeerToken.
I'll keep the rest for on the website  Wink

I'm also working to finish the whitepaper.
Had a good talk yesterday with people who know more about the DeFi space and crypto lending. Working out how it would play out legaly but that should open up even more (lending) power to the hospitality sector.

@everyone, I'm very happy with your critics and questions. Keep them coming if you have any, all I can do is improve from it

About reputation, that reminds me that I am intended to ask about it. Just a simple curiosity about your background, because I got this impression after reading the entire posts on this thread, and again strengthened by your confidence that people will find you by name, I haven't do any digging yet, but am I right to assume that you are a pub/brewery owner who got affected by covid's lockdown?

Hey Miiike,

Yes, that is 100% correct, it even says so in the original post

Quote
As a brewer and beverage wholesaler

I am affected.
I might need help if this drags on for another 6 months, but my books are healthy, we have business loans ready that we didn't take up but did sign in the first lockdown, march 2020 (we can take them up untill q4 2021). But I have collegea that aren't that well off, put in all their savings but are still very close to closing. Not many service providers (music/software/...) stopped billing them.

It's for my collegea, the industry and for the great products and experiences they create.

Thanks for that question. Maybe I should have addressed that better in the original post?
Anyway, always happy to clarify

And about finding me, it's a small twitter chain but if you want you'll find me (send me a DM if you do  :p  )  Grin
