Upon launching a new escrow service - looking for co-founders or partners

So i have the platform ready and everything has been tested.
I am a bit hesitant on launching the company alone, since they say a lone company will never be successful and therefore i am seeking some partners or co-founders along the way.
My idea for the escrow is fairly simple, a straight a way user-less escrow platform, that supports both Monero and Bitcoin.
The escrow is secure, and i will be adding a lot of new features in the future, along with new crypto-currency support.
I take about 1.5% fees for transactions under 500$, while 1% for transactions worth over that amount.

If you build decentralized escrow, then perhaps the project will succeed without the need for partners or you to have any investor with you.
escrow service is often about trust, so it is best that you hire trusted members and make them use your platform.
Can you share with us more info about how it works?

Indeed. For many times that users in here tried to establish their reputation, only less had been a successful escrow. Hence a cliche service like this isn't a great business to make, adding the fact that there are already tons of trusted escrow services. If he would build a decentralized escrow, he might have another year of developing one, which might still probably hard to trust as well in the future (depending of course on their system and their marketing strategy).

@OP, One thing that you must sacrifice is to disclose your personal identity (which is so risky), but still have a good reputation first. Start from escrowing a little to huge. Again, even you might have partners, that wouldn't change anything, but might rather make everything harder.

You aren't lying, but I think you mean automated escrow platform from the sound of it?

The problem with automated escrows is that a majority of escrow requests I receive are for items that can be charged back.  I am continuously and have been for years now, warning users about items that can be charged back thereby rendering escrow useless.  By giving these chargeback scammers a method of escrow they can utilize to scam users with chargebacks who think they can trade safely with escrow, you are actually enabling scammers and assisting them in stealing money from uneducated users.  That sort of invalidates the reason for offering an escrow service, unless your motivation is to enrich yourself off the losses of others (very common among even the most popular escrows here).  Not to mention the dangers of running an automated hot wallet and the high probability you wouldn't be refunding users who suffer a loss from your system out of your own pocket and I think we have a recipe for disaster.  You can tell how good and honest an escrow agent is by what they choose not to escrow.

If you use an alt account to escrow, you're not getting any escrow protection at all.  You used to use Rmcdermott927 a lot for your escrows, until he was outed as your alt.   I'd suggest you take your stolen coin and stop trying to scam others.

OP - A new escrow service involving human thieves is not needed.  Automated escrow is coming.

I would demand at the very least a real escrow agent hold actual funds and be capable of refunding users scammed by these types of automated services.  If you require them to put their money on the line, I can assure you that the idea of automated escrow will disappear very quickly.

They also love starting services they don't want to back with their own money using an alt account so they can't be held accountable for losses that will most certainly occur.

Your dislike of automation and smart contracts left everything being recorded on spreadsheets.  Where are all the spreadsheets and other evidence now Mr. Escrow?   You can't delete a blockchain but you can delete spreadsheets.  

Trust the blockchain, trust smart contracts created by competent people, and distrust people who lie when they think everyone has forgotten.  

As of July 2016, he had literally ZERO negative trusts sent or received - trusted or untrusted.  From 2011 until Summer 2016, he bullied anyone and everyone who dared leave him negative trust into removing it. He didn't even leave negative trust for the people who ran ponzi schemes that he convinced other people to invest in. Then he got some neg trust that he couldn't bully away - since then he seems to have gone from "let me use my status to preserve my 'perfect record' " to "it's open season on these bitches"

What i am trying to achieve is an escrow for anything. Let us say you want to purchase an iPhone, you go to the escrow and start a transaction, you send your funds to escrow and the seller will see the status of the transaction.
When seller ships to you, all what you have to do is to release the funds to him.
There will be some problems with disputes, but i will work on solving them along the way.
I am working on something to avoid using a Hot wallet as well, that's within the consent of the users.

My club can offer you automated dispute resolution through microtasks - a quorum will decide by majority rule.  But I need to build up a worker base first before I can promise knowledgeable and  consistent results.

Can someone provide a list of reputable escrow services to serve as an alternative, if they also do not trust these automated escrow services? I'd like to hear your plan of mediating anonymous user-less disputes.     If you have a plan, great!   But don't expect anyone you're not paying to use this service.  You're just another newbie asking for a lot of loans with no collateral.  :/

I wasn't asking for any loads of funds, i was simply asking for someone who can help me with the administration of the website, such as DevOps and server administration.
And i will not be comfortable giving out my plan for disputes, given that it should be implement on the website at first, and then i can be discussing it without any worries.

That's true. Do not trust these escrow providers. It is more risky than doing a trade without escrow.
You can always use forum escrow but in that case too always do trade in small parts.
