LTC had a small bullish movement with BTC being bullisj but after reaching $180 or close, it’s moving in the reversal way. Almost all the coins had good pump, but what's wrong with LTC? It has not risen, despite price has been decreased. Can someone put a theory behind this?

The paradigm shift is mostly not on LTC currently, everyone is  concentrated on bitcoin and few altcoins that could be generating instant ROI, demand for litcoin would be another theory that is playing a reversal trend in price comparing to how other coins are sailing smoothly.

Litecoin may be an interesting clone (fast blocks, fast confirmations... the digital silver, not trying to scam anyone like bch)

If the litecoin founder doesn't really believe in the project , why should anyone?

I don't have theory on it but it got a pump first before most of the cryptos went up. And just as what we see with the market lately, they're done with the pumps and it had to correct.
But after this correction, we'll see them again pumping one each other but no one knows if LTC will be the first one.

and no need a complicated theory behind this my friend, because not all top altcoins will make a significant movements now,
you only need to be patience, because when the time coming, i believe litecoin price will spike up

You need to blame Charlie Lee for that, he was public when he dumped all his coins when the price of Litcoin rallied last time and if you expect others to trust the development and invest heavily you need to have balls of steel  . I am just happy to see that the price rallied when the rest of the market rallied even though the rise was not that sharp but for a coin which went below below $40 in the last correction it is a decent rally.

I think so, there is no need to look for a reason behind LTC decrease. Only the BTC increase affected it a little bit, and is now falling as it has increased. Being the oldest and reliable makes it valuable. Other than that, I cannot see any improvements. However, I am never tired of using it anyway.

New projects are taken over LTC and since there’s no update with LTC, they didn’t pump that much and instead, investors are coming to those hot projects out in the market. LTC was once of my favorite coin to buy but since it is not active anymore, I have to switch to another project with a great potential same with LTC, and guess what new projects are more active and many established coins/tokens are now more profitable compare to LTC. Its hard to know why, but the price trend says it all.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that LTC is no longer a very in-demand coin.

Its selling point used to be that it has faster confirmation times and more coins in circulation - which means that the units of accounts are much easier to deal with.

But now, with ETH and other coins that are far better developed, have far better community support and a lot more hype, LTC has sort of lost the only competitive edge it ever had.

So essentially, its identity is stuck in limbo. It's doesn't have the first-mover advantage that makes it a long term store of value like BTC, nor does it have the innovative elements of newer alts with fancy smart contracts.

That's why it's hard for traders to hype this coin up. Even in a bubble, for a coin to pump substantially, there needs to be significant merit to back up the narrative, which is what is lacking from LTC right now.

It looks like OP has got some amount of litecoin in the wallet, and that's the reason why he's thinking much about the growth. Litecoin has grown good, and there is no sudden drop or growth. Everything happened following the goodness of the market. So, with such cryptocurrencies it is good to take litecoin out of the market at the right time than waiting long.

I don't see any hype created to LTC recently so if there's no something like that it cannot create a good demand that's why we can't see some good movement from it recently also I never see so much talk about it on social media groups so maybe LTC is so outdated and holders need to do something to create some noise if they want LTC to pump up.

Aot of money is going into defi and some other flashy fad type coins.  Once the dust settles most of them will be gone or turned scam and there will be litecoin still chugging along.  Its a safer play and most alt buyers want insta profits.

All growth of speculation in altcoins are presently going to Defi. Many of these Defi are rugpull scams, however, Defi as a concept, similar to the ICO as a concept, will have a postive future in the cryptospace, I reckon.

The controversial assumption is that there are many variations in the trend of this year's altcoin image, you can look at DOT, LINk, UNi.  It is possible that things have evolved either because part of the altcoin created a new trend that caused LTC's value to reverse, or because new citizens in the market were following the movement's crowds.  Will LTC stop growing?  LTC's market cap has continued to decline without the surge in pumps.  Users have left anonymity for new trends!

Yes, this is also one of the reasons why Litecoin is not in high demand. but despite all that there will be times when Litecoin goes up. And recently I heard about a flare network held an airdrop for ltc holders. although an official date has not been announced, this could be a reason for future increases.

Is this true?, so what was the remaining interest of the founder of Litecoin Charlie Lee in the platform if he has no LTC coin left in his pocket, It doesn't make sense to me it will send a wrong signal to the Litecoin users and investors by the way I'm just asking because it was catching my interest.

Litecoin did over 100% growth; and as an investor i say this is a positive sign; litecoin has gone from 40$-60$ per 1 litecoin range and now trades around 130$ per 1 litecoin; litecoin growths has been organic and swift too, no sudden pumps or hypes. And it is equally bullish long term. Soon we would litecoin towards 200$ once again as bitcoin succeeds the support level

I lost my trust to LTC when charlie made a mistake. But LTC is still one of my favorite coin.

I'm different from friends I started accumulating my own LTC since it was $50, and I still keep them right now, more precisely, I don't have any plans to recover money from LTC because I define it is a long investment that can take up to a year or more depending on the market situation. The reason why I made this decision, actually I have a different view of the market from many people when people are attracted to trends that increase assets quickly, but I see one thing is wrong. When this market goes into an uptrend, the coins that are used a lot will have more upside. So LTC is a great choice, since pairs trading with it on exchanges are so many and varied with altcoins, trust me this is repeated.
