I could not have imagined that the price of dogecoin would go up so much.  I bought a good amount of dogecoin in 2018.  I sold it at a low price last year.  Now I just regret that I could have made a good profit.

Its very surpriseful how a tweet can make a big pump for a coin like DOGE, especially the tweet didnt contain anything related to any activity which bring good impact to the Coin.
If the tweet contains pic about him using doge as payment processor or anything related to it, i can understand how its impact the price so high like this. But its not...

As with GameStop, the momentum to create a sustained pump (without the corresponding dump) just isn't there. As much as DOGE is a sentimental favourite, investors want a quick buck and aren't afraid to pull the plug if they see a prolonged slump in price.

Those that have a considerable bag should sell now and buy back for half of the sale price (and pocket the other half).

it's like the speed to make a move that requires moving fast. Dogecoin will not have a regular continuous pump in the future. this is only temporary. It is true that you must immediately take action with the assets in your bag or are disappointed if it is too late, for me, Doge will not be able to last long for this position.

If the reddit army were to nominate an ATH price they were aiming for (say a thousand sats) then there'd be those ready to dump at anywhere north of nine-fifty having bought in well in advance of those who are following the chorus of buyers.

This was because of Elon Musk tweeting about doge, surprisingly it pumps after he tweeted. There is no serious project behind that dogecoin but the people like it, they continue to support doge. It's really amazing that doge is still running even the dev abandoned, it's just like bitcoin.

Created for fun is a marketing gimmick.  Doge was created as a scam. But very soon they decided to add big enough tail emission so they make that scam premine irrelevant. Doge is just a normal coin. Just like Bitcoin, Litecoin and 1000 others. Copying Bitcoin.  Nothing fun, nothing meme nothing, ...  A working transparent ledger coin with known issues that such coins have.

I actually see what you say is an undeniable necessity, that it could be that their marketing / sales have done something for purposes that we don't know.
For me, it is strange that people like @elomusk have joined the coin doge issue, with the statement.
doge really is no different from other coins and we will wait for the continuation of the doge story which is quite phenomenal at this time.

I think the part where it is just "marketing" is not really true, because it was actually loved by people even though they knew everything about it, it is really just a thing that people used not for investment but for fun and that was the selling point of it. There were thousands of donations to charities and it was really huge sums of money, people bought dogecoin and sent that dogecoin to charities and so forth, most of the time one person or one organization collected all that doge coin and sold it for fiat and donated the money.

So yes, it was sort of marketing in that sense, but the reality is that marketing wasn't done in a way that people would be promoting doge, it was done in a way that people promoted what they did with doge, and there is a difference between both of them. I was part of it years ago when it came out and helped some people and donated about 50 bucks for examples, I really felt better about myself, that is the reason doge became something when it first came out.

I guess, we're simply early phase of getting surprise. Lots of other coin down, but Doge is on riding. Influenced by Elon tweets individuals pulled out cash from different sources and throwing into dog. Appears that everyone wants doge, I expect a big pump.

It's surprising to see a coin with that much volume, marketcap, and supply going up that high in such a short time.
but it may also be due to fud done by elonmusk and not knowing for sure whether it is true or not.
however some predictions say the doge will hit 1 $ by the end of this year, if so then its marketcap will be at 128 billion $, and will be in 3rd position leaving the others.

You don't need to be surprised when the richest person is shilling about it.

And the only one who are going to make big money are the early investors of Doge, just think about it, if you have been holding it for many years, whether your believed in this coin or just being a bag holder and hoping that one day it will moon.

And definitely this is the day that those bag holders are hoping for, and to Elon, hope he is a bag holder of Doge though. On the contrary, as I have said previously, he is too busy with other things that being a bag holder will be the last thing in his mind.

The worst part is that Elon Musk did it for a joke. Many people made a lot of money on it, but when the DOGE bubble bursts, many people will also lose (hopefully only money). I think what Musk did was very irresponsible.

It must be happy for Dogecoin holders to get a surprise, the increase in Dogecoin is indeed very significant. Even exceeding the increase of Ethereum,

The last DOGE price pump was only partly due to Elon Musk. The WallStreetBets tweet made the biggest impact. It is not known at the moment whether Musk or WSB will continue to pump the DOGE price. Remember that this is just a big bubble, so if this is over, the price may drop to the previous level in a moment and many people will lose a lot of money. Therefore, I advise caution in encouraging people to buy more DOGE.
