Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain?

I had no doubt that Polkadot has a potentials to increase more in the future. However, for now I'd rather to choose BSC maybe because it was most often being used every time there is a new project that will arise here in the crypto space while in Polkadot platform is too seldom at the moment to be use by the new projects. Although, DOT was one of my assets that I am holding for the long term.

There's been a lot of hype surrounding Polkadot these days. The alternative smart contract platform is definitely faster and cheaper to use than Ethereum itself. It's already within the top ranks in market cap. Yet, people have forgotten about Binance Smart Chain these days. This smart contract platform is as cheap and fast as Polkadot (someone correct me if I'm wrong), serving as a great alternative to the Ethereum blockchain. What these platforms lack is a solid number of dApps to overcome Ethereum. There doesn't seem to be any indication that developers are going to build new and exciting dApps on both chains. As long as Ethereum has the most dApps and tokens, its rivals won't be able to stand a chance against it.

Now the question is, which of the aforementioned platforms is better? AFAIK, Binance Smart Chain (powered by BNB) has a greater level of centralization than Polkadot itself. This should make the latter platform a much better choice for everyday people. Still, there's potential for BNB as it could attract businesses and companies in the mainstream world. Which will survive in the long run, is an excellent question. Thoughts?

take a closer look and be more thorough in the development of Crypto in recent times, there have been many projects that have functions and capabilities that are almost similar to the growth of Ethereum, some even have more than the Ethereum blockchain itself.
but for now ethereum is a project that is still very popular to this day and I think it will be very difficult for other projects to take the steps that resemble ethereum.

I will choose polkadot then BSC, because of the developer if BSC is gavin wood. And the uses case for DeFi is more in polkadot then BSC. It will take time to create fulky functional system but dot will made it in the end.

I agree. And Polkadot pretty much have interesting Parachains. I'm actually looking forward for this project called "Polkastream". it's a one-stop-shop streaming platform backed with Crypto utility. I'm very excited for the project to finish its preparation. I'm sure this will be big!

Polkadot is not fully launched while binance smart chain many coin use it. Bsc smart contract is good i personally using it and waiting for polkadot to be release.
Many people vsay that polkadot will bring a great network than bsc smart chain.
My final thought Polka dot will be good one than bsc smart chain

What is the reason to you for believing that BSC is better that Polkadot ?? I think the less transaction fee one of the best reason to become ahead to BSC .The both chain are well established and more secured than any  other  chain .We are facing the fee issue on eth chain but the BSC help us to solve that but i am really thinking about that when the transaction pressure will increase how it will act with us .Probably the team will do something to correct it .I am really upset about eth chain hope something positive will come within short time .

The binance smart chain is fully controlled. By BINANCE and it s centralized . And the other side polka is decentralized  but if we see in the future BINANCE SMART CHAIN have very big projects. A lot of fame and  new projects for the BINANCE SMART CHAIN. So for me BINANCE SMART CHAIN

Of course. But most people don't care about Binance Smart Chain's centralization, since it's all about making the most money in the least time possible. As long as their pockets are filled with money, nothing else matters. New projects are building on top of BSC, while Polkadot is being left behind in the dust. It's a pity, considering that the latter (Polkadot) focuses on decentralization and censorship-resistance. DOT would've been a great ETH contender if developers made quality dApps on its blockchain network. BSC is rising at full speed, so it's hard to say Polkadot will take its place on the market anytime soon.

Which cryptocurrency to use, comes down to a person's preference. If you like decentralization, then choose Polkadot. But if you like convenience and greater user experience, then choose BNB. Both projects are being actively developed, so there's a possibility they'll survive for a long time. Just my opinion

You know the superiority of one platform over another sometimes doesn't matter. As long as developers keep building on, let's say, ETH, these platforms only stand as niche. That said, BSC has existing projects, and only 20s have volume. This is a chain backed by the king "Binance."

Polkadot seems "untested" at the moment, and they will have a bigger challenge than BNB.

POS (or anything that involves staking) = centralized, end of story.

I very much agree that the story of centralization is indeed almost over. What belongs to the future should be decentralization, giving power to users, and centralization will stop doing evil.
Dot is bound to be the future, because he has solved many problems and is truly in line with the future development of blockchain.

Polkadot is more decentralized than the Binance Chain, but Binance has a huge ecosystem to bootstrap its own community and is doing it right now. I have already said that Binance Chain poses the biggest threat to Ethereum and it seems the Ethereum people are opening the door for Binance to take over from them, people are shouting Centralization, Is Ethereum 100% decentralized, most of these people don't look in the mirror and take the spotlight out of their eyes, how can you expect people to keep paying $50 per transaction and you think it's sustainable and when people talk they'll tell you shut up Ethereum 2.0 is on its way, but there's no deadline for when this will come.

Binance Smart chain is closest to ethereum. Polkadot when compared to Binance smart chain definitely Binance Smart chain will be superior. With low cost, high transaction speed, easy to use, large community, backup of world exchange (Binance) all owned by Binance Smart chain. What is seen from the shortcomings of the Binance Smart Chain network is, the low cost of making tokens makes a lot of fraud such as shitcoin entering the Binance Smart chain network.

Yep, polkadot have the same potential as polygon. however, when compared to BSC, I strongly believe that nowadays people will tend to prefer BSC over polkadot. even, when people choose between ethereum and BSC, maybe BSC can still excel. I think currently the order of the network after Ethereum, the best is BSC.

As they have already said before, Polkadot is a powerful network, but it is not well established yet, however BSC is now collapsing a lot in its network, I particularly like the BSC network more for its comfortable fees, also many projects have been booming However, for the metaverses it would be ideal for Polkadot to integrate and start with healthy competition, many metaverter projects are moving towards other networks, one like Polygon's, it is not bad but there is information that will be a boom, but now the BSC network as long as the NFT game project continues to be great, at least by 2022 it will be even better from what it looks like.

In my opinion, just the hype that is being created around PolkaDot testifies to a good marketing team. Here, rather, the reverse side, Polkadot is much worse technically and also because of the huge hype around him, there is mistrust in him, which cannot be said about BSC. In my opinion, for a normally sane person, the choice is obvious.

I am not a BSC adherent, but objectively there is nothing better at the moment. Polkadot? - Definitely not, Ethereum? - especially not, now there is no worthy competitor.
