I just read this annoucement to their telegram channcel. Nominex soon will move to defi and I hope this project will be successful in the future. As far as I know there are already users waited for the improvement of this project and their token to be tradeable in their exchange. Hoping they will kept their promise to the users.

DeFi is the new trend in cryptocurrency today so a struggling project like Nominex is probably thinking that joining the trend will keep them afloat in the market.

Nominex needs to offer something new and innovative in terms of DeFi products or else they would still find it hard to gain footing in the highly competitive DeFi market. There are already so many DeFi projects today. Nominex is already a little late to join the game without bringing something unique and impressive.

I think the decline in the price of NMX tokens is not due to news of nominex switching to defi. Because this news is old news.
