I will try invest into the new legit icos and some new coins consider it's still having potential to grow like the major coins. When you are seeing the major coin right now and your 1k will be worthless consider those coins are overvalued coins.
It's better to stick into the new coins that can bring you insane profit rather than try to stick into the mainstream coin that already trader with overvalued price.
Do you know flow? The majority of early investors have been making up to 7k percents return

The best possibility you can invest in is Binance and you will need to have their native coin BNB to earn some profit and airdrop coins. I will advise you to invest 50% in Bitcoin, 25% each in Ethereum, BNB, Polkadot and Chainlink but if those coins are much for you to manage then you can choose BTC, Polkadot, BNB and ETH.

1. i know insane profit = insane risk , but majority of the coins currently in top 200 have gained more than 10000%.
2. I tried mining eth back in 2018,  invested alot of money. 7 GPUs 200 M Hashrate. But effort time was alot more. I am living in a country with expensive electricity. I cant just collect coins and pay electricity bill from my pocket
3. I lost money in new projects as well e.g. there was a scam coin agena (AGN) . I read posts , websites , white paper as far as i can digest before investing in it. Thought legit but it turned out to be a scam.
4. There are 100s of coins with ico every year , majority of them are scam. Dont know the way to identify the right ones with wrong ones. If you know then you can tell this information or if something secret please do not hesitate to message me

At first thousand of dollar is enough for starting as investor .I think you may choose the top coin as i always suggest to buy top altcoin which are most secured platform to invest .On the other hand you have to research yourself before invest .I think you can invest those project which have a recent positive news i think that's how you can get a good return quickly .

If that value were to be invested in one basket then of course I would only choose bitcoin or ethereum, but if that value was going to be invested in multiple baskets then I would choose polkadot, cardano, chainlink and maybe dogecoin. Then all the options go back to your own and what percentage you want, the coins sometimes surprise me with increases that always make me regret not investing more and or selling late and too soon. With this incident I prefer the coins so that I no longer regret when they get the pump and I am ready to profit from it.

drop your $1000 to multiple coins, for example $250 to Bitcoin, $250 to ethereum, $250 to Polkadot
and the rest you can go for other promissing altcoins with low marketcap
