this situation is depending on OP's capacity and capabilities , if he can keep holding then best to buy ranking coins like top 10 but if he needs for short term ? then he must risk for altcoins specially the cheapest one that can be a small factor of failure.

I think insane profits would have worked months ago but now, the market is not in too good condition. Nevertheless, if you are familiar with NFT tokens or know what NFT tokens are, then you can make your research about them and know the ones to go for, but make sure you avoid those hyped ones on twitter and so on because most of them have no true intentions but just to get the funds and exit scam, just make sure you study them, ask questions and so on.
Secondly, another option would be to look at the good coins already growing, but this will depend on how long you want to hold, so assuming you are the long term holding type with such amount you can split it in, SOL, ETH and ADA, or chose the ones you want.

well, for $1000, I'm also more likely to go for eth and bnb. however, I'd probably split the 2 coins to buy $500 each. for now, you can have 1 bnb more for it, and less than 0.5 eth. however, if you want to take the risk a little, you can go all-in at a bnb.

This year almost all coins increased to 100%, except tokens which have been dead for a long time. But if you want to get insane profits with a capital of $ 1k. I think Binance is the best choice.
