Adding bitcoin price ticker.

There's a vacant slot in right side in the homepage so I think it's good to add the bitcoin price ticker there or even add ethereum or 1 more as per user selection on that tab.



What do you think about this suggestion? Since for me its good option to add so that we will always see the price of Bitcoin, Hopefully this will be consider.

It would render the whole idea of the forum useless, who will always be updating the price. The Forum is better off without the USD value of bitcoin showing on it. It is just my candid opinion yours might differ why you'd want it implemented.

Probably not. There's no point in doing that to peg Bitcoin prices to fiat on the forum.

You'd be better off getting a userscript for that which would serve the same purpose and you can customize it as well, probably more than if it was implemented on the page itself.

Nah. This forum is about bitcoin. Adding the equivalent of BTC to USD means that the forum must get the result from an exchange, which I don't think it suits the forum's philosophy. Also, what's the point of adding such feature? There are many other missing functionalities of this forum. For example, notifying you if someone quoted you.

It will be helpful for users who always want to watch the price of bitcoin and its a time saver for those people who don't have to time to check multiple tabs on their pc or phones. But anyways it's just a suggestion which might other think not good but for somehow quite helpful for the users who always trade bitcoins.

So you want to say that some people are so busy while on the forum that they simply don't have time to open another tab and check the price? How much time will they save, few seconds maybe? This has been suggested before and its definitely feature not needed on the forum, and active traders  have more efficient ways to track the prices than looking for it on the forum.
