Does anyone remember the total scam coin Envion?

Its been about 4 years now since Envion came around promising a solar powered mining operation, with dividends given to all holders of their coin. With a starting price of around a .40 - 1 dollar per coin if I believe correctly its been so long. Last I remember is the Envion team had raised a ridiculous amount of money then the founder ran off with the money. Does anyone know what happened. Just want to bring back old memories and see who remembers quite possibly the worlds greatest scam.

To be frank, since it was a scam as you rightly stated, then there is no need to remember it or to bring back old memories because remembering such things comes with pains and not happiness, therefore let it be forgotten and let people learn from their mistakes and move on.
Also, scam projects like this is the reason why it is very important to understand the use case of a project and if it will really work, because most times, ideas like this one are just hyped by the team in order to get enough funds and disappear because they know it can't work. In the same way, not only the use case aspect, the team in question also needs to have a considerable years of knowledge in whatever thing they are working on.
Nevertheless, so far I believe many people have learnt a lot, so don't get me wrong, but I don't think we need to remember a scam project like that one, because the list is endless.

I was able to invest on that shitcoin.
I was really disappointed to this project before, especially their affiliate program where you may get some of incentives once you invite someone and buy on their ICO.

But I am still thankful that I was able to exit before at loss (not that huge). It was a part of the lesson on me. As far as I know, there was some court or law related actions were filed against the team behind this, but for sure they already enjoyed those money that they scammed for the people. Never again!

The announcement thread is still active and there are some people still talking about this garbage coin. Idk what was happening with this coin and it looks like it's confirmed as a dead coin.

You remind me of another Scam coin that was named "B3 coin". I have lost a lot of money with that coin and its almost dead now. Such coins are really disgrace to crypto world. Because of those stupidly scam minded people crypto suffers a lot. It is always better to invest in coins that are reliable and have future.

I can no longer find any information regarding that scam coin. But if the founder had already run off with investors' money, there's no way that they can be tracked unless the SEC will work chasing them.

Ridiculous how people are having conversation on this coin. Somebody on the thread even asked about the tokens for sig campaign.  If the coin is already untracked in cmc, expect that the project is already dead. Don't think that this one will be revived miraculously. Their scam dev team already moved on a long time ago.

Yes, I remember it, the Envion ICO is successfully raised an amount of $100 Million of funds from investors, And base on the supplied information the Envion founders and their partner has gone through a court battle because they have a misunderstanding in terms of management for the supposed to be a solar-powered cryptocurrency mining company its been 4 years already and I dont know whos the winner in the court battle and if the Investors were refunded or not.

I wish this thread did not exist but at the same time it does need to, for us to be wary next time we think of trusting a project. This should serve a lesson not to trust anything so easily, instead look for the facts and legitimacy before getting carried away by flowery words or promises.

thinking back about envion i got hurt, i was one of the victims who joined the envion bounty and did not get paid.  they just tricked us all, even though the Envion project was a success, but they didn't want to pay the bounties who were already working

We can't call that envion already successfully raised 50 million dollars from the ico consider the team didn't even transparent with the how much raised and they have told the investors to kept watch it through the ico site.
Im sure that if they didn't raise such an amount.
It's not only you dude but so many people have deceived by the scammers. This can be considered as the biggest scam ico in crypto history based on the valuation that already claimed by the scammers.

What has passed doesn't need to be remembered anymore because there are still many good projects at this point that need time to remember, because remembering the past will only reduce your enthusiasm for working on other bounties.

I do, Envion came then promising clean energy and how they are going to monetise it, I think the team raised more than $20 million then and nothing to show for it. People need to learn from the past, soon you will start seen projects coming up in the space asking for ridiculous amount of money for project that as nothing to do with Cryptocurrencies, just say no to them
