You are engaged in an empty work here is a real wallet, the conditions for opening it below
Here you can try a real wallet 100% on it 50 coins if you open 20% of yours Prompt 1989 then nickname how many characters nickname is unknown Here is the hash $ bitcoin $ 64 $ f95b995bd952613281a7fbf16a37abfa342d579a651d2fcf32c21d7479fe587e $ 164c6199e $ 164999 $ 2 $ 00

Without the wallet (IF it is genuine) the password, (IF, you can find it) is not much use.
You end up with the situation that Alice has the password,  Bob has the key and immediately you have the problem of trust.
As soon as one hands over their information, the wallet would be emptied.
Spend the money you would have wasted on electricity 'hashing passwords' to buy a lottery ticket. Much better odds.

Exactly.

This may be OT and I'll retract/delete this post if it goes too far off course, but there are similar Dark Web sites pertaining to be selling Wallets with Bitcoins in them.

If somebody would like to play a game with me, I can give them the address of a Wallet.

If it can be broken, that person gets to keep 90% and I'll take 10% - as that person will be doing the Lion Share of the work and the only Python I know of is Monty and the snakes what can bite you.

The Wallet.dat extraction looks simple enough, but I'm the sort of idiot who'd get it wrong - I could burn water on a good/bad day.  Plus I only have Windows 11 and a bog-standard £525 HP computer.

If somebody could explain it to me as if I was a mentally challenged two year old, I might be able to open a wallet someday.

(When I did IT at school, Clipart was considered as 'Cutting Edge').

If it's legitimate, why aren't they attempting self-recovery instead of selling in the market?

Looks like you've really dug deep into this. Honestly, it's a bit of a wild west out there when it comes to these hashes and online wallets. You're right to be cautious. It's hard to say for sure, but some of these could definitely be fishy.

Do you have any wallets that have been hacked since 2019 (with passpharse or private key)?
*A wallet that has already been withdrawn and has a zero balance.

I'm buying these wallets.

Even with the master key that is supposedly in the bigcrypt hash, it is still very difficult to decrypt. Hashcat runs a little bit faster, but I'm guessing most of these passwords are set very high with little chance of getting the passwords without very expensive rigs that Bruce Wayne owns. My bitcoin was taken by hackers or police, and it led me down a dark road.  Lips sealed

Or the Bitcoins never existed in the wallets to begin with. So they (scammers) use the false impression to sell off the useless wallets to greedy fellows who think they have a chance of cracking the wallet and walk away with lots of imaginary Bitcoins.

My bitcoin was taken by hackers or police, and it led me down a dark road.  Lips sealed
or may you just let your guard down and got your seeds or private keys to leak. I mean, there are so many possibilities.

Guys, be careful not to waste money on these things, usually these sites come with files that are and smell like scams
not to mention that if they were real they would have a password to guess and if others much better equipped have not succeeded..

my advice is not buy
