BREAKING NEWS: KRAKEN EXCHANGE IS OVER..

I am calling it out here.

Their site has been crashing for the last 3 days... Access is intermittent.. Customer service chat has been removed from the support page... and they have relocated a "chat with us" right at the very bottom out of the way and it does not even work. The site crashes if it has more than 10 people using it seems (which is every second). 

I have had nothing but bad experiences on that damn exchange... Is it run by a 12 year old on his dad's dial up modem?


I am in need to move asap... What is the point if you can't trade when you need to... I have missed too many opportunities to list using kraken!!

Who is next best to kraken (actually I don't want next best, I need the best - so that's about 15 places away from Kraken).

I am just logged into my Kraken account, I did not notice any difficulties. Everything working fine as usual, without any crashes here. However, I do not normally use them on a daily basis so maybe there is really some trouble but I suggest you to recheck your computer or which device used to access this exchange.
and yes, support Kraken lives chat is still in the right place.

Works fine for me here too. When the site was having troubles on Friday probably due to the DOGE pump, their support answered within minutes and it also helps to follow https://status.kraken.com.

Also, other exchanges had similar problems in recent days. And despite that, your subject line is very misleading if not straight out a click bait.

Just set up limit buys or sells, whatever you feel like. That way it doesn’t make a difference if you can get online during busy times. The orders will get filled automatically.

You scared me. After reading your title, I thought Kraken vit hacked or it's founders ran away with all the money.
Thankfully that's not the case. Many of us using it without any problem. I think it is something at your end that is causing you the problem.

That's an assumtion and not "breaking news" and even more it's just stupid clickbait shit.
Kraken will be here even by the time you start making sense in all the things you post and judging by the latest that's going to be one long journey.

It doesn't crash but it did feel a bit sluggish sometimes this morning (GMT time) if you were playing around at least in the high-volume pairs, but they're going to fix it most likely. Kraken is probably one of the best exchanges out there and will outlive a lot of competitors if not all of them.

Some people feel the need to make trades during a pump and dump, grabbing their mouse, massaging it to make sure it's in the best shape possible for the ultimate click, keep their eyes glued to the monitor, and then like a cheetah when they feel like the pump it's at the peak hit the sell button...two seconds too late since their ISP just went down

When you come up with a title you need to be careful as i almost had a heart attack thinking that the website is hacked and the site is offline  . The owner of the site is not a kid FYI, he does have an account here and you can contact him and sort your issue, the website is working fine for me and if i find any issue i will update here if i make any purchase or sell order and if i encounter the same issue.

Kraken is not over and all big exchanges currently have issues now because number of customers have grown several times and their infrastructure can't handle it very good.
I am sure we all know about many issues Coinbase have, and maybe you can check out Gemini and Bittrex exchange, but it is much better and safer if you hodl your bitcoins and never trust any exchange.
