I don't think if there will be a locking period for the bounty or origin private sale. Tokens that owned by the whales will be locked and it will be opened proportionally based on the earl agreement. Someone above me already posted it dude.

Yes, that's interesting to know. Because if there is no lock-in period for those whales who bought at a cheaper price, they may just dump it in the market once they see that they are in profit. But that's the usual thing that may happen. But if the project is rock solid, they can always rise after the dump.

Dear Sovryns,

The Origin pre-deposit allocations are nearing completion and we expect the last batch of emails to go out within the next 10 hours. The number of deposits received has been much higher than anticipated and it now looks likely that all of the 2M SOV tokens available for this phase will be allocated via pre-deposits.

Yesterday we started sending invitations to users on the Origin waitlist at a rate of 480 per hour. Due to the size of the email list, it has taken some time to invite all who signed up to participate. This was a deliberate decision to try to slow the deposit phase down and avoid the fomo that plagues other projects.

In addition we imposed a deposit cap of 0.1BTC per address to ensure equal distribution and greater decentralisation. Participants could also access a ‘redeem’ button to remove the finality of deposits. With these measures in place the pre-deposits have been able to progress in a slow and steady manner.

We are now nearing the end of the pre-deposit phase and have a little over 4,000 emails left to go. We intend to close the pre-deposits with 1% of allocation left, this will be to enable staff, volunteers, and those who have generously donated their time over the past weeks.

RSK not RPC, Sovryn is currently on rsk network from what I understand  the reason why you will need some rbtc for transaction fees, for the erc20, I read they are planning to have sovryn on erc20 as well but that will be in the near future, I think the metamask thing is what is making some people to be confused, it seems you can choose the rsk network using metamask.

I wonder if metamask is the only wallet that support the RSK mainnet because when i tried to make an rBTC withdrwal from kucoin it show "dont use erc20 adress" but the adress showen in metamask is an erc20 adress...i think only the adresses that generated from metamask are compatible with the RSK network

Your Erc20 address is the same like your RSK address but the only make it different if you must change your main net to the RSK. When you are changing the mainnet and your ERC address will be automatically converted into the RSK address and it's still the same address.

Im not sure about this but as far as i understand when you are signing use your ethereum wallet through metamask and then you configure your metamask to be able to connect with RSK main net and i think that you will able to send it to another address. The received should have connected to the RSK main net to make sure if the address exists. If you are sending to the ethereum address that never connects to the RSK mainnet and you will be losing your asset.

You must make sure that you change from ETH mainnet to RSK mainnet within metamask, to be able to interface with SOV.
There are other wallets that support RSK mainnet like Nifty, Mathwallet and Liquality - but Metamask is the most commonly known.

One thing to watch with Metamask is always check your transaction fees - they don't always autofill

No, the RSK address is already there. You just need to setup the RSK feature at Metamask to access the address. You can do that whenever you want.

That's correct. I think that you must also noted this if your ERC20 address will be activated on the RSK mainnet when you have been sending something to your wallet just like RBTC. It doesn't require a lot of rbtc.
Your address will be showing on RSK explorer when you have ever deposited RBTC to your walelt.
You must have noted this as so many people are still confusing about the correct procedure to use their wallet on RSK mainnet.

The Origin sale was oversubscribed. Sovryn paused deposits to the Origin sale in order to avoid receiving too many funds, which would necessitate many manually processed redemptions. In total, over 200 BTC was received. However, after accounting for donations and redemptions the total amount of BTC eligible for SOV distribution is 194.7. As a result, 5.29 BTC of the potential allocation remains unclaimed.
The team has reached a consensus that it is not worth reopening deposits to collect these 5.29 BTC, as that dev effort can be better spent on further development of the system, and onboarding new users to the platform who participated in the Origin sale.
Therefore it is proposed to distribute the allocated 2M SOV to the current set of depositors, this would set the effective price at 9736 sats per SOV.

Trading was live alreadt but only for Genesis and Origin Participanrs until there was an issue happened that why it was put on hold. Making it available to the public goes within a certain week/s I suppose.
And as we dont give dates to avoid hurtin everyone from their expectations

They now have a better community manager that contain spams and remove spammers. It is just disappointing that everyone cant be the same and some people dont care what people feel about their actions, that should not be reasons to leave the group as investor, other option is to join the Annoucement channel where team only post. As you are laughing bounty participants who are smart and understand the value of sov already made huge profit,  lol, trading begins on the 13th of April,  and the initial opening price is 15k sat per sov, very few sov in circulation because Genesis sale participants only get 10% of their sov, most Origin sale participants are already staking sov for a higher profit,  with much demand and few circulating supply,  do the math, I don't think this sounds ridiculous now.

When you are seeing your SOV already delivered into your metamask wallet or something else and that means your coins are free and it can be traded on the sovryn platform anytime. You didn't even need to move if you are not wanna doing something with your SOV.

I'm sure that it is in everyone's best interest for Sovryn to gain as much exposure as possible. On another note Sovryn is listed on CMC, it is just not "tracked". As per their criterias for a cryptoasset to be tracked it needs to listed on an exchange with significant volume (that is listed on CMC). https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043659351-Listings-Criteria

AFAIK Sovryn is currently only traded on the sovryn dapp with a daily volume of several million dollars. What I suggest we do as a community is to support the listing of Sovryn platform as an exchange on CoinMarketCap. The team already applied for that but i think that's not their focus for now as the developers are focusing to develop more and more product that will be giving the easiest way for the new people from ethereum and binance chain to enter the market and this will help to increase the liquidity and awareness.
I will try to take CMC as a non main focus consider it can be listed on there instantly.
Some people are still feeling difficult to use RSK. The bridge to the ETH and BSC is the best solution for now.

Kucoin has a reason for that. The withdrawal for RBTC from kucoin needs less than a few minutes. Kucoin needs to make sure the transaction is safe. This is also applied to the all of coins in kucoin.

RBTC already created RUSDT but it's not listed on any exchange site. RSK was creating a bridge between USDT and RUSDT but the problem is if it takes up to almost 1 week to swap your RUSDT to the USDT.
I should remind you that this is about sovryn platform and RBTC is just a bitcoin pegged token on RSK network that was running by bitcoin miners as well.

You have need to buy https://trade.kucoin.com/RBTC-BTC and then transfer your RBTC to your wallet on metamask that already connected to the RSK chain. You should configure your metamask first to be able to connect into the RSK chain. Your RBTC will be used as a way to pay the fees to make transaction int he sovryn platform.

A basic fundamental value of the token could be estimated if we'd know the staking APY. The devs said that soon we will be able to see that on the UI. I think it would be useful to see the total voting power as well. However that calculation won't take into account the growth potential. Similar older platforms have much bigger trading volumes than we see now on Sovryn. So we can conclude that there is plenty of room for growth.

The team is still developing various features to be available on the sovryn. The cex listing could be a big bet for anyone. Long version:
Once again, we missed a detail while developing at hyperspeed in a production environment. No funds are at risk, only a challenge for users' patience to GET THEIR SOV.

The script that was deployed did not include an important variable - disbursal from the individual vesting contracts being created for each user need to be transferred to the staking contract, in order that they can be displayed in the UI of the dapp. This means that not a single user can "see" their SOV rewards.

As explained in the announcement above, the vesting script needs about 12 hours to complete. The choice that the dev team faced when realizing that the initial vesting contracts were not displaying rewards in the dapp was between:

1. stopping the script, and adding the variable, and running it again.
2. letting the script complete, and then running a second script to transfer the rewards from the vesting contract to the staking contract.

Both choices would have resulted in delays to users "seeing" their sov rewards in the dapp. The team chose to let the initial script run, then check for any errors (missed contract creation), then to process any of those by hand which threw errors to make sure of a 100% success rate, and only then to deploy the second script moving the sov from the vesting contract to the staking contract.

The second script that will be run to move from vesting to staking will, however, have an optimization proposed by one of the devs which allows the script to run four transactions at a time instead of one by one as was the case with the initial script deployed. This will decrease the time needed from 12 hours to 3 hours.

Users have raised concerns in being unable to calculate the Circulating Supply of SOV after the number displayed in the dapp did not update after the most recent monthly vesting unlock event of Genesis and Origins tokens. The problem has been identified and is described below:

- When the Origins vesting contracts were created, they did not emit a VestingCreated event
- The VestingCreated events are used in the database to identify all vesting contracts
- Therefore, it is not yet possible to distinguish between origins vesting contracts and user wallets
- It is also not yet possible to count them into the circulating supply calculation, which the dapp displays.

Our Data Mage is now writing a script to bring the correct numbers into the database so they can display correctly in the dapp. Thank you to all the users who identified this issue, and for your patience while the correction is being scripted, tested, audited, and then deployed. Further updates will be announced when progress has been made.

Some people are against it based on the thread that is still being discussed in the sovryn forum.

Sovryn is not yet developing API to the its DAPPS. We didn't need check to be listed on CMC as long as sovryn has its own API and CMC can get the data from sovryn platform to the CMC. You can also use the rsk bridge platform to bridge your rbtc, rusdt to eth or some other currency, check this link Rsk bridges with Ethereum, this can help you bridge your rbtc or rusdt to other Ethereum network currency. But note it requires a little waiting time according what some people who have already use it said, I haven't use it because am currently staking my sov.

SOV can be converted into the Rusd and this can be converted into the USDT through RSK token bridge. that will need at least a few days until you will have received your USDT. You should be funding your RSK wallet with some RBTC to be able to swap into the sovryn platform. If you wanna get it much more easily and you can try to sell it for RBTC but this will be very volatile. it's better to keep it into the RUST and then when the market is stable convert it into the RBTC and then send to the kucoin.

- under “Finance” menu select “Liquidity mining”
- in liquidity mining page, if user was provided liquidity to the amm pools already: all pools will be dimmed and disabled from interacting, text asking to transfer liquidity to new pools will appear above pool list - clicking transfer button will open dialog with list of pools that needs to be transfered - user will need to confirm transfer for all of them and wait for transactions to be confirmed so new pools would be undimmed and interactions enabled
- select a pool and deposit to it
- pool deposit amount should be available instantly after tx is confirmed, profits may have some delay
- wait for some time, at least until you see some positive amount in the pool rewards column - you can try withdrawing then
- open “Rewards SOV” page from “Finance” menu
- See if claimable SOV amount is same as the one that was suggested when withdrawing liquidity (can be different a little bit)
- Claim these tokens, after tx confirmed go to Portfolio -> Vested Assets and confirm that Locked SOV balance has increased


2. ETH Token Bridge + pool

Explanation of Money on Chain's $37500 worth of MoC for Liquidity Providers to the DoC/BTC pool:

 -The campaign will end on the 1st of July
- The DoC/BTC pool is a V2 one which allows the LPs to deposit only one asset if they choose.

SOV rewards for liquidity mining are claimable at any point by clicking the "withdraw" button https://live.sovryn.app/yield-farm for the pool you have liquidity in, then click on https://live.sovryn.app/reward to claim them, after which they are visible in the vested assets tab of https://live.sovryn.app/wallet as "reward sov", AND in https://bitocracy.sovryn.app/stake listed as "current vests"

10% of the reward SOV can be then withdrawn per month for 10 months as liquid SOV, which you can also stake in bitocracy instead, if you choose.

All of the vested reward SOV will count towards voting in bitocracy while it is vested, but only 10% becomes liquid each month for you to withdraw or stake.

If you want to CONTINUE earning SOV rewards in the pools after you have withdrawn your liquidity to get your SOV rewards, you will need to REDEPOSIT the liquidity to the pool.

SOV rewards for providing LM are recalibrated every monday. If you leave your liquidity in the pool and do not withdraw it to claim the SOV rewards, the rewards keep accumulating until you withdraw them.

Keep in mind though that the vesting period BEGINS at the point you withdraw the reward SOV.

Personally I think Sovryn will become a snowball soon with all the projects in the pipeline. My biased opinion is that the ecosystem built around Sovryn could create tremendous value for the crypto community especially because it is built on RSK network (a sidechain of Bitcoin). This way Bitcoin's value will be unlocked by lending and borrowing.

However it is ESSENTIAL that developers keep working hard and thread carefully because major flaws in the code can be fatal in this space.

Regarding Margin Traders not being able to exit positions:

Some users are experiencing issues with closing margin trading positions, because the AMM price diverges more than 5% from the oracle rate. In such cases the protocol refuses to close the position to protect the user from price manipulation attacks.

Now, because we are encouraging users to convert their stable coins into XUSD, a huge chunk of liquidity was removed from the system over the weekend. This means that the AMM gets out of balance much faster and trades are being closed with higher slippage.

We are aware of the situation and already in the process of transferring rUSDT to the system to serve as liquidity in the AMM pool and allow all users to exit their positions.

However, this means we cannot use the Sovryn token bridge, but the IOV token bridge, which takes 24h for a transfer.

Additional information for users seeing a difference in asset values in their portfolio in comparison to the the swap interface:

The portfolio takes the asset rate from the oracle and multiplies that rate by how much a user has in his wallet to show the approximate value of usd.

When the user goes to swap page and wants to swap his entire balance he may see a different usd value for bigger asset amounts because swaps has slightly different rate than the  global rate because of actual pool liquidity at that time.

For assets that doesn't have price oracle, the portfolio page converts assets to RBTC and RBTC to USDT to get an approximate usd amount, while the swap contract may pick another liquidity path for swapping assets which may have impact on the actual price.

So it is, now the main thing is not to stop and continue developing.I honestly thought that listing on uniswap would cause much more growth maybe it will be in the future or other exchanges will list the token.

The uniswap didn't give a lot of contribution to the price increase but this brings more liquidity to the sovryn and people who wanna try to sell it for ethereum can do that easily through converting their sov to the esov.
I think that the main key to pump the price of sovryn must from the centralized exchange listing. I don't know whether there's an estimation time for this to happen but we can see that from the market activities.
So many coins can make more than 50x after getting listed on binance especially.

I'm sure that once SOV stakers will have greater incentives, a much bigger percentage of the supply will get locked up, thus relieving from the selling pressure on the market. So far the only benefits of SOV stakers is the ability to participate in token sales at preferential rates and periods, plus the fees from margin trading on the platform. That's not much taking into consideration that most of the volume on the platform is generated by spot trades/swaps and not margin trades.

Hopefully the Bitocracy will prove itself efficient and better incentives will be created. On the more positive side the platform development is solid and at a pretty fast rates. Looking forward to Babel Fish and Mintlayer origins sales.

XUSD margin trading, lending and borrowing are now live. As such, you can now use XUSD as collateral when borrowing other tokens. As of today, users will no longer be able to open new margin positions, lend or borrow using rUSDT, or use rUSDT as collateral when borrowing other tokens. The interface will remain live to allow for positions to be closed. This does not mean rUSDT is being removed from Sovryn, but only from opening new margin/lending positions.

The nodes that Sovryn uses for the site (live.sovryn.app etc) have been running slowly causing site performance issues.

Therefore, we're placing the site into maintenance mode shortly while we rebuild the nodes, after which we will test site performance and will either re-open the site or continue further triage. This has not impacted the protocol, only the Sovryn site. As always, funds are safu.

We have re-opened the site and all features are now accessible again. Keep in mind, the back-end continues to be slow and will undergo refactoring tomorrow. Trade and yield-farm history and charts may not load for some time - degraded chart/history performance is to be expected until further fixes tomorrow.

There has been a smart-contract rollback, reverting to yesterday's condition, Therefore lending has been reverted to V1 (before the upgrade process) and is functional again.

Yes, the voting process for SiP 00024 has been delayed a bit.  SoV needs a slight adjustment to the staker balance.  But the lending/borrow interface has been upgraded, it's great ) I will vote YES!

Yeah, maybe you are right, we need to list SOV on the good CEX but the current situation is not good, the Altcoin market is too dependent on Bitcoin.

The most ridiculous thing is when the price is at the top people think the price will continue to rise and when the price is down people think the price will continue to fall and They blame others besides themselves and their greed.

I agree with you, currently Ethereum, BSC and Polygon networks are more popular than RSK networks. It still takes a lot of effort to increase users.

I've been talking about the fastBTC RBTC tp BTC and it seems like the team needs more time to make it happen. Basically, it will not be so difficult to develop it. The spread was too big and so many people were also complaining about that. I guess this is why even the whales didn't wanna convert their BTC to the RBTC. Something that must be fixed as soon as possible.
I personally will not try to convert my BTC to the RBTC if i will be getting difficult to did viceversa. The team said no ETA

I looked based on the information listed on coinmarketcap about sovryn. I thought that Sovryn ath was $24 which is happen 2 months ago, so it's not like that. Could it be because it's a bit slow to be listed on coinmarketcap. Anyway, they will not let the price of their tokens continue to be at their current figures, surely they will present a plan to overcome this slumping price.

Basically the all time high price of SOV token is around $80 USD or 0.00143070 BTC, Sovryn reached this price before being listed on Coinmarketcap. The current price of SOV tokens can be said to be quite low, but still above the price at the time of the public sale.
The Sovryn team is still doing well and continues to provide updates on the progress of the project.

When you have a dump at 99% in the bear, the token gets difficult to pick up and very hard predict in the next cycle. Defi is having a very bad experience and I dont think the Defi features in ethereum can revive the idea after the merge. Zero Tradeoffs
Zero has its own tradeoffs as well. Zero charges a one-time up-front origination fee of 0.5%. This amounts to about one month or less of interest at typical interest rates. Some CeFi lenders have this charge as well; others don’t. Most of the ones that don’t have an origination fee have an early withdrawal penalty to guarantee a minimum fee regardless.

Most of Zero’s disadvantages occur when your collateral ratio is too low. If your collateral value falls below 110% of the loan value, your collateral will be liquidated. You can keep the ZUSD, but you will lose 110% of that value in collateral. Furthermore, anyone who holds ZUSD can redeem it for the equivalent value in bitcoin from the collateral of the user with the lowest collateral ratio. This doesn’t represent a loss in value, but it represents an involuntary swap of assets. The solution to both of these disadvantages is to maintain a higher collateral ratio.

Zero also has potential risk in terms of an undiscovered bug in the smart contracts that execute it. These have a strong track record as well as a record of successful audits. Furthermore, Sovryn maintains a $1M bug bounty to find vulnerabilities, and it has yet to be claimed. All these factors confirm the security of Zero.

The term “Borrowing Fee” on the Line of Credit and Zero Statistics modules of the Zero UI, has been changed to “Origination Fee” to be in line with industry standards.

This has also been updated in the Sovryn Protocol Revenue charts and Zero documentation in the Wiki.

The Zero RSK RPC has been updated to use a faster RSK node. This should resolve an issue some users have experienced that caused the Zero app to take a long time to load.

So how about those investors who trusted this project and bought Sovryn for 23 dollars 
Should we consider this money lost ad price is now trading even less than 20 cents and there is no hope to rise at least for now? The only hope is that it may gain hype in next bull run but we are not sure what will be price action for this coin in the bull market.

Yep. USDC and DAI Deposits were temporarily Paused. USDC and DAI have lost their peg.

This kind of thing will be a constant concern because USDT and USDC are rooted in centralized fiat finance. Stablecoin Circus.

Sovryn Project was thought to be the first ever project wich bring DeFi to the bitcoin but it failed completely. I told before that invested in this project due to this hype and still holding my tokens at a 99% loss.  
As per my experience, none of the altcoins projects are sustainable and if you invest in any altcoins, exit it at the project and do not hold them for long term thinking they can make you a millionaire.

I am just waiting for the next bull season and hope the price will rise again and I may sell my SOV coins at breakeven (which seems impossible) or at a minimum loss.

Stupid team that thoughts if marketing and exposure was not important for the project. Only a few people that used this dapps. There's no proper development progress happen with this one. Lowliquidity, a few users.

there's no movement in sovryn. It never be listed in the new exchange site. The dev was very greedy for not spend money to be listed on at least a good exchange site.

CEX has bunch of users compared with this platform. No cex no adoptions. I just say based on the fact.
