Unfortunately, after downloading the wallet and typing "setgenerate true" in the console, nothing happens. I mean, it doesn't look like it's syncing. The information in the lower right corner is that "0 active connection(s) to minidoge network"

Any idea how to push it forward?

Its a false positive from the miner. If youd like, review the code and compile it yourself.
Also, bitbucket is just a repository. People can upload any code they like to it.. be responsible for yourself and do research.
