it's not a joke dude but that's the fact and we can't deny that doge already pumped by so many investors from reddit. Where are you getting such rumour? i never heard that before. You can try to use dogecoin fauced but i don't think doge faucet will be paying you a lot of amount for the doge coins again as the price is increasing a lot.

Forget the rumors, there's no rumor that says it's like bitcoin. Doge is just a coin that's being loved by many people in the community but it's interesting because it has cheap fee and quick confirmation. It might not be a real deal for you for it to go up but what's being done is done and it's increasing because of the community that pumps it.

It's originally a meme coin but it has come a long way since then. The founders already left and development is basically dead but it still has a huge community backing. It's convenient when moving funds because it's fast and cheap. I personally prefer using this over XRP.

It’s not for me but I see no harm in investing a couple of hundred $. It’s very cheap so if it goes to a couple of $ per coin in the future you can make some good money. It’s never going to be a mainstream coin though.

Doge is Bitcoin alike clone. It is no joke. Its marketing gimmick is to be a joke so it stand out of 10000 similar coins.  But in general dont bring anything new to the table it is just like BTC, so not interesting.

The fact it is originally a meme coin I don't think it is a good investment for the long term and I don't think it is going to rich the 1$ price in the market. Mostly the price spike was just because of the hype of the coins online and on so many social media platforms but I don't recommend it as a long term investment you could invest in the token for the short term and quickly make some money because of the hype and it is altcoins season. Remember just to invest at your own risk a lot of people lose money investing in DOGE token in the last pump just remember to always buy low.

Lol it is as much like bitcoin as most other pow coins.  But to expect the type of adoption bitcoin has is just unreasonable.  Its a fun coin/community and has its place in a meme economy.  But make no mistakes it will never "be like" bitcoin as far as being on the same pedestal.  Thread lightly

The problem is the development is dead so i dont see anything promising for the future. Also for transfer fund, i prefer using XLM or TRX its fast and cheap too.

It was just a meme coin in the first place but Doge is one of the oldest coin in the history of this cryptocurrency market.So I don't really consider this one to be some sort of joke.

Basing off on technicalities then this one do its job pretty well.The only thing I do saw whats fault is that it does have big supply.

DOGE is common to be used in gambling due to low cost,fast confirmation and cheap and it seems they do have some time or attention to pump it out.

Because dogecoin is nothing like bitcoin. I doubt any website would directly accept dogecoin unless they are using some sort of thirdparty payment gateway (like coingate). One of the reason is that the price is quite unstable.

It was initially made as a "joke"/"meme" coin, but it became quite popular with an active community. People then started using it as a coin to "tip" people on different forums and places.

Originally it start as a joke but there is a loyal community built around it and it has gained some traction. There are a few micro earning sites that pay in Dogecoin but the amount you will earn is probably not worth it. It has a decent level of adoption. It is accepted by several gift card merchants and you can gamble with it at various casinos.

Freedogecoin still pays users, you can get free Dogecoin there, but the prizes you get at this time are unlikely to get the prize before getting the doge was so easy but after the price goes up now it's hard to get it from the Dogecoin coin meme faucet which is well known now for the Dogecoin crypto community. The coin joke was not very valuable in the past but has grown in this time's popularity.

It is being used by crypto gamblers, specially if the fees for bitcoin and ethereum are so high right now. It might not get the consensus of the community, but definitely it has it's own used in crypto space.

Doge coin is real but I never heard someone says that doge is like Bitcoin, I mean maybe technology wise it is but it's really different than bitcoin, it's just a memecoin but still has value regardless. Also people could use this coin for various things and for money transfer is one of them. despite being a meme coin it's still very useful coin for daily activities, many crypto payment gateway also accepts this coin. In a nutshell, doge is a memecoin that got pumped just because it's "meme"
