I doubt that Elon Musk was already invested in Doge not just only bitcoin. Maybe at first he tried to tweet just to test how he can pull up the doge and it was effective, and the second time that he tweeting about doge for sure he already invested it, he can make money on cryptocurrency easily.

I also doubt if person like Elon Musk do this only for profit, i mean maybe he see something useful things from Doge or either he just want to make fun of it.
Also, Now Tesla announce to invest on Bitcoin, why not Doge? Im more sure Elon just want to make fun of the memecoin while many person take hype of it.

If tesla decides to invest in doge then the investor would be raging honestly, doge coin as good as it is, still created for meme and not for investment while bitcoin was a crypto that aims to revolutionize traditional paper money and just seems more appropriate to invest to. also, not to mention that elon isn't the sole investor of tesla so it does make sense if they decide to invest to bitcoin instead.

What I think is that Elon Musk deliberately did shill for doge to get fresh funds to expand his new company (Tesla) in several places without spending a lot of caps. If you pay more attention to some of the news lately, you'll understand Elon's scenario. Moreover, when the announcement that the cryptocurrency plan accepted for the purchase of Tesla products is only bitcoin, not Doge.

He's a well-known/richest man in the world so he can use his clout whenever he wants, knowing that he's a fan of crypto (Dogecoin to be specific) will really create a huge impact to the crypto despite knowing that DOGE was a meme-coin. He's an inventor as well and I think that's one of the reason why he's supporting cryptocurrency technology. Soon enough I think Elon will make collaborations with top tier exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, KuCoin or even DEX's like Uniswap & Sushiswap and will accept crypto transactions when buying Tesla Model cars via BTC & ETH.

That is the issue, many people look up to him as a mentor and imitate whatever he does; I mean, he is the world's richest man. He should be mindful of what he posts or tweets. Little did we know that Elon is really a bitcoin fanboy and not with Doge.

He is simply using the Doge to do some leverage, and see how his simple tweet and shilling will affect the market. And he is really successful doing it as Doge price really went off the roof. However, with his admittance of buying bitcoin, I'm sure there will be no weight for his Doge tweet anymore. People are going to buy bitcoin because he himself have invested $1.5 billion. So Doge will continue to be a meme coin and from here on in, it will be used by a lot of pump and dump groups.

There's no way Doge will become as valuable as any other coin in the market today. The coin is meant to be a meme token, and a stablecoin. Stablecoins have a different nature and environment than bitcoin and other cryptos, so things like buying the dump will not work because it will always be dumping, especially in the case of DOGE.

Just late one minute after his tweet I sold my doge coin under lower price, I think if I canceled my order selling could get more than $1000 last night, I have put notification showed on my twitter when Elon make new tweet, but I late after seeing Doge coin have pump exactly few minutes after his tweet, still waiting price doge down and selling with higher price because he make tweet every time in one week about doge coin.

Indeed, even I was confounded by the thing that was occurring because out of nowhere he posted and tweeted a couple of times about DOGE. Furthermore, who might have thought? Hmmm.. how ideally with BTC too, I'm certain brokers like me will be happy as well. Haha But you're right, it's BTC, regardless of whether it's not being shilled and hype, it just can't be ignored.
