But I believe this year will be the year of the altcoins or it's seasons and it will going to pump the value what ever happens.
Also that three coins is potential and many investors keeping investong that will result a better value and you must to invest now to make a better profit.

panic will create "fear" and if the fear show up to most of crypto investors for sure the big dump will coming
but for a smart investors they will keep calm, even a big dump show up, because they always know what should they do when the price dump hard anytime

I guess these people are too afraid to invest early as if they would lose the money soon. Then it's just right to assume that they don't fully understand the market situation because they're just going with the flow when it is convenient for them and as a result they always fomo during the hype or worst fomo when the price is at the peak.

People should understand how to use the pump and dump to avoid more losses as if it didn't happen in the past that they kept repeating themselves in that situation. Anyway, I have a few doubts about of the big dump, OP were trying to say it's not like this year is 2017 although we still can't deny that there is high possibility there's dump coming but who knows?

I doubt there will be a big dump because of the acceptance of different platforms to buy Bitcoin in an easier way.
We don't have that last 2017, that is why whales can manipulate everything.
But with small investors having a chance to buy now especially in the restricted countries of exchange, Bitcoin and Ethereum will not be dumped in high amounts.
Think about it, FOMO could happen once they sell. I wouldn't want to be on that position.

I don't think that's going to happen to Ethereum and DOT, they are doing great and there's no issue on them that will make them being dump by investors, it's Ripple who is likely to get dump and if that happens it might go down to $0.05 because of their issue with SEC and exchanges delisting them.

In future exchanges will surely delist the XRP coin if they cannot solve the issues with the SEC, if they continue facing problems like this surely the price of XRP will drop even lower value in the coming, nobody doesn't have any clue when the bear market will enter again.

dump market = big discount, when happens then the opportunity is wide open. every year there will definitely be a dump moment, but we can't predict exactly when. My advice is = wait patiently.

I think the dump market will happen in the future, but right now, we will see the pump and dump in the market, but that is not a big dump. I think the market is not yet getting the bull run, as bitcoin price is still up and down and trying to make a new ATH. You really have to feel easy for now, its too early for the dumps. The Bullrun has just started and Elon musk had just bought BTC. Ain't that something that we have to look up because more than likely many will follow including the ones from another market. If that's going to be happened, we can fillup our portfolio with more precious coins/tokens for sure.But, we also need to remember that we shouldn't miss any bottom/chance as well. Back in 2019, everyone was expecting for a new bottom of Bitcoin which will be lass than $3k. But it's never done and market pull back from that bottom. I have disqualify with xrp as my favorite coins because this year get many trouble and delisting from many exchange market, I think better choose with ethereum and have give us proof how price going up and hit close with $2,000. I think waiting what the next way for bitcoin price give moment for ethereum become stronger coin with higher value, maybe ethereum can raise up above $3,000 at the end year and have potential with trusted by investors.

I don't think we will see a significant drop in cryptocurrencies this year, on the contrary, I believe that 2021 will be a year of growth. At the moment, we are already seeing how BTC and altcoins have shown new highs. ETH and DOT have already made their upward push and hit a high price. As for XRP, this is a dark horse at the moment, but I would not write off this coin at the moment, but the likelihood of its growth is slim. These are all big projects in the cryptocurrency market, so it's easy to understand why it is getting so much attention from everyone.

I am not sure about 5000+ per eth because that looks a bit harder to achieve, but 3k+ per eth looks definitely possible. People are forgetting that ETH has increased this much only thanks to the market movements and that is just the start, we are going to see it go up so much more, with miners gone and proof of stake requires you to "keep" your coins instead of selling them (like so many miners did) the price will skyrocket for sure, and it is going to just keep going higher and higher, and also we will have lower and lower fee as well for transactions too, and faster as well which means we are going to actually have a lot more people using eth as well, that is going to be awesome.

With more users, less sellers and a lot more reason to hold it, 3k+ per ethereum looks like definitely possible in a year, probably even quicker than that.

After Tesla announcement with buying bitcoin and accepting bitcoin as digital currency payment bitcoin touch on higher price but I am waiting when correction coming, I am not patient with few day have moment of Chinese new year and waiting will get impact bitcoin have lower price or not, but still my assumtion because every Chinese new year bitcoin and altcoin price always dump because many China investor they sent bitcoin to celebrate with their new year.
