you have 163 usd at the start in your bank and then you withdrew 150 usd and you left with 86 usd . you didnt lost your 150 usd then but you only lost 77 usd and that was because of the fees . dont put the blame all to eth but uniswap also has its piece or cut on the problem because it charge you ridiculous fee than the exchange that you used earlier .

this all would have been bad when you witness that the coin that your trying to purchase are increasing and going to the moon .

The fee is crazy indeed as I've observed the fee could varies in such ridiculous range, this block you see median of 100 gwei per gas next block you see 200 gwei per gas, if that's not insane then I wonder what it is.
The developers of token should also try to search for another smart contract platform just to distribute the traffic otherwise it's gonna stay like this for another year, the sharding which supposed to take care of the fee also not really helping isn't it?

Ain't helping at all. This fee is killing everything, they needed to work it out both ends, the developers if this continue shoul find another way or alternative to lessen this fees using another chain.

I wonder how many newbies will react like this after finding out how much the fees that they needed to shoulder in order to deal with investing t oany smart contact based projects.

Arrested?? You feel devastated?? Only 42$?? There are some people who are paying more than that price just to transfer their tokens.

Before transferring, at least  you should know the basics of it. You just transferred without knowing that if your transaction fails, the gas fees will be gone forever. Ignorance leads to this kind of posts. Nobody cares about the fees you spend since there are a lot more who are spending higher than that. If you can't take the fees of ETH then better find another coin or don't use ETH or any ERC20 tokens at all.

We can't blame vitalik for the transaction fees it will base to how much worth your coin is,much better that you calculate what will cost if you transfer your coin .And you can wait the fee to go down before to transfer.

The decision will be decided by the community itself. As far as i know so many preparation to launch the solution for this problem. It will not help a lot. You don't know about when the fees will be going down.

Miners were farming the money from the transaction fees. I have cancelled all of my intention to swap my tokens on uniswap. $50 for each tx on uniswap.
10 txs meant $500 just only for the fees. WTH this garbage chain getting clogged anytime.

Learn to control yourself and your temper especially when your family is around because it will only take a sec for you to react harshly at them when it is obvious you are the one at fault, even if you hurt them in the process, you will still be the one to pay the hospital bills.
Nevertheless, the Ethereum gas fees is getting out of hand, and it is not funny anymore, people now misses out on their proposed gem of a token just because of high fees, most times you might even end up paying more for gas fees than actually buying the token you intend to buy. Also, this issue of high fees is now driving people and developers to other potential network like that of Binance smart chain which charges very little fee. Currently, there is nothing you can do than either spending the fee to get the token or just walking away, we just hope a solution is found soon before more investors and developers leaves the Ethereum blockchain.

After I heard from my friends that the gas fee increases so high at Uniswap, I decide not to trade on that exchange because I do not think that I will have a chance to profit. I prefer to use the usual exchange, and I see that it is enough to trade on that site instead of following what other people did. You have a big lesson here, and next time if you want to trade on Uniswap or the other dex, you should calculate the gas fees, so this thing will not happen again in the future.

Can you feel it? when you have paid $77 just for the transaction fees and then your transaction failed. You have been wasting your $77 for nothing. Imagine how much pizza that you can bought it with such amounts.
It's normal when there are people will be blaming ethereum chain as everything become non sense right now.

Now I'm stuck with some tokens in my Ethereum wallet that I can't sell because of the high gas fee, this needs to stop or else the bull market won't make any sense and only the whales or big investors will benefits out of the price surge, now gas fee is over 20$

i quickly withdrew it to my trust wallet, the exchange took about $22 usd for Ethereum transfer fees so i was left with about $128 usd when the eth hit my trust wallet.

If any centralized exchange takes that much fee for withdrawals , than it's better to buy other coins which have less fee and convert that coins into Ethereum by using any famous converter. But i personally use FTX where withdrawals fee are zero which is the best advantage for low crypto hodlers to transfer any crypto from exchange into personal wallet.

Ethereum gas fee is so much high that some users make meme of it like , Ethereum gas fee will hit 2000 before ethereum hit $2000. We can't do with this as ETH2.0 is just started and we need to wait until 2022 or maybe more for a lower gas fees into ethereum network as sharding is needed to implement properly on the main chain.

The real problem of Ethereum right now, HIGH GAS FEES!!!!!! I think this is what they should tackle more. Yes we are all happy that ETH goes for another ATH but what the hell right??! Its gas fees also reach its highs!!! Volumes are doing good tho for ETH. Thats all we are crying about, the high fees.

This is the main reason why using a DEX right now is a bad idea, eth is mooning now and every transaction cost x100 of what it used to be back then, with the price of Eth this high I don't think it's a good time to make any trade on DEX that will require eth for it to go through, really sorry about that but next time check Ether gas station before thinking of doing any transaction that will involve eth for fees.

Its relay bad situation for any investor.I am practically face this problem.so i think it was a low gas fee eth price raise day by day and transaction fee  increasing more and more its relay very bad experience for all of us.

I think ETH Gas problem isnt the problem that just happen, its already in a while.
Didnt u know anything about it or check it on gas fee calculator?

Also its strange if that u really think a project was ticket to the moon but without any good strategy to buy it.

Of course I know the gas problem didn't start recently, and of course I saw the actual fee I was supposed to pay to enable the new work confirm my transaction on time but like I said in my post, I twerked the fee so as the bring it down a bit, which is the mistake of my life,  $42 usd is a lot of money in my country, Infact Its a monthly salary for some worker.
But this is all my fault and mistake I understand, cus the token I wanted to buy is actually listed on a centralized exchange, I would have easily deposited my eth to the exchange and buy from there, but ever since uniswap came out, I've been avoiding centralized exchanges cus I don't like paying fee to withdraw my tokens after buying, but this have taught me a great lesson.

Eth gas fees are getting worst day by day.
I don’t know why it haven’t  be fixed yet.
It is hampering everyone. Most of the low earners can't even withdraw their profits because of the fee.
I think it should be fixed as early as possible.
Things are getting worst in this bull market.

Always remember to check the network and the gas fee when you are about to make a transfer, just check ethgasstation and set your gas fee to the average at that time, or if you think it's too expensive then you can wait. This has been a problem everytime the network congested / eth hit all time high. Even right now sending eth will cost you $4-5 per transaction and ofcourse other token will cost more than that. I hope they will find a way to solve this because as it's right now then it's not suitable for mass adoption.

Bad thing if you use uniswap when trading and during swap your coin if failed you loss your fund eth fees as transaction, they don't care with your transaction failed and you need to deposit eth again if you wanna sell coin on uniswap, this my reason why never use uniswap as my exchange because now take more than $160 as payment fees only and you will need much profit if wanna buy or sell coin on uniswap.

Yes, it cannot be denied that ETH is very expensive now. The transaction fees are huge, even more than Bitcoin is very bad. It remains only to believe that Ethereum will not lose its users and will reach its goal after solving the problem with slow transactions.

now it seems that Gwei is a big enough problem for us as bounty participants, moreover, some bounties even have to postpone the distribution of tokens to participants just because the transaction fees are quite expensive right now, and in my opinion maybe Gwei will come back down after the launch of ethereum 2.0 is launched later because from several articles that I have read, it says that one of the benefits of eth 2.0 is to reduce the Gwei costs that occur on every transaction using the ethereum platform.

I would prefer to use centralized exchange to buy or sell your favorite altcoins. We are tired of this transaction fee of Ethereum. You are very lucky that the transaction didn't fail. I faced that problem too, but the transaction fee was average. That's the reason we need more blockchain to minimize the transaction cost. In Especially Tron blockchain transaction cost is very low, even faster than Ethereum TPS.
