India’s crypto industry is launching a campaign to help you email your MPs #IndiaWantsBitcoin

It’s time to tell your elected leader that you care about Crypto innovation & it should be regulated positively.

Spread the word and contribute.

Note: If you are not wearing a signature, you may wear this for the time being to help Crypto industry in general.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Good  campaign. I have already participated. We need to step up our efforts more to get Government attention.
Though this Government is deaf and they never listen to concerned people opinions.

Thanks for initiating it. Yes, we need crypto and blockchain for development and this is a time when we should convince it to the government. Banning is not the solution, we must take it in a way that is beneficial for all.

P.S - I logged in after more than a year just because I heard this news recently and this upcoming law will not only destroy the crypto in India but also the opprtunities for new creative startups too.

Caveat: I don't want to demean the campaign in any way these are my personal views. If the community doesn't like this anyone can PM me I'll remove the post.

Even though I strongly support this movement and obviously I want crypto to be legalized in this country or at least left to its own fate. But I don't really think these e-mails and hashtags are going to be any good. Moreover, I don't want to create a sense of fear but these days I am genuinely afraid of posting anything against the National party, I strongly feel that anyone involved in creating such forms should be worried about some action too. After yesterday's case of Disha Ravi who was arrested for merely editing a toolkit that was created to create a mass movement for supporting farmers. She is a 22-year-old environmentalist held for sedition and supporting Greta Thunberg. Can you even imagine this?

I think if the government is determined to ban it there is no way you can stop it everything we do is to console our minds. Moreover on forum there isn't going to be much buzz about it. There are hardly any Indians on this forum. If you try to get international attention you would still be called out as an anti-nationalist.
