Will it happen with its current bull run?? I don't think so.

These 2 targets can be achieved but I doubt that it will be reached by this current bull run we are seeing. Right now Bitcoin is in a sideways movement (although we're seeing right now testing the previous resistance of $42,000 with its recent pump) and seeing even the $150,000 price of Bitcoin to happen this time is almost impossible to happen. Yes we know that anything is possible to crypto but lets just be realistic, Bitcoin jumping from $42,000 to $150,000 in a span of a few months seems impossible.

Exactly I think max it will rise till $55k. $150k is impossible in this bull run.

that's really a lot of money there. it could really make the small holders of BTC survive the long lockdown. but when is this going to pop?

no matter what, we'd still be seeing this as bubble and it will pop eventually. the question is when.  if the bubble today is very different from what it was back 2013/17 how long will this take before we could see a decline of prices?

this is driven by defi so if it pops, will defi also be doomed?

Different bull runs have different catalysts, this 2020 bull run was fueled by institutional money coming to the market. So it might be big in the next coming months as we might be taking about $100k or more here. Yes, everything is possible, $390k might be surpassed as well as long as there are money that will pour into the market. The exponential growth might slow down though as we reach 6 digits in the future.

That $390k is possible but we never know when this will materialize, but the market is doing great, and it will continue to be great all throughout the year, as long as many institutions are coming and continue to support the market and as long as we have big names like Elon Musk, tweeting and promoting any coins in the market will still continue to enjoy the bull run.

Why believe on such crazy prediction about bitcoin will go to $150 - $390k? Do they have any proof for saying that if not then it's all lie and there are so many consideration before that thing happen. Since we need to flip up a huge demand to accumulate more orders on bitcoin so that we can see that coming. For now if you don't know or unsure about future just trade - sell your bitcoin and buy when it's cheap then repeat that to earn

If it can jump from 12K to 40K in a month then we should consider that demand is rising heavily and VISA is also considering providing cryptocurrency to its users.

Yeah but that's not gonna happen instantly since there are so many instances to be consider so for not missing out those beautiful market volatility better to focus on tradingand set aside the thinking of hodling since you might possibly end up bag holding. ^ Nice to see you around predicting the market price. But I think that is too much price at this year. Probably at the range of $50k-$100k is near accurate. But of course, I am also afraid that there is a big correction like what happened in 2017, for now, let us better monitor the social media trend because sometimes it has an effect on the market price. Like Elon Musk hyping BTC price and what if there someone influential person throws negative vibes on BTC.

I guess you would had said the same thing years back if you saw the prediction of current value when bitcoin was trading below three digits. Bitcoin has a unique features that make it easy for any trading value to be achieved, timeframe used to achieve such value is what can't be predicted accurately but the price can be speculated on. The demand of bitcoin has been steadily increasing, we're yet to see the full potential although the specific figure highlighted in the OP might not be possible in this current bullrun.

As for the bullrun, it could possible last untill the end of the year and early next year before the dumps starts having it's effect on the market. For bitcoin to go as high as many speculators are expecting, we'll need more that just one bullrun. The next bullruns would definitely see bitcoin trading above $100k.

I don't expect a major bull run again this year. I think the market will do a steady movement up and down and not a super run like we saw in 2017 and last year which are all halving year. Therefore, the halving years have been instrumental for bull runs if this is historic we can now have it at the back of our minds when a major run can come in light. We are going to have steady but less volatile growth but I don't expect a 6 digit before another halving.

$390,000 is not an easy target. We have just crossed $40,000. That is still a very long way to go. What is easy are those targets near the current price such as $50,000 or $60,000. The price will eventually reach $390,000 but that will take years, even a decade or two.

A $100k - $390k bitcoin market value i guess was achievable and i didn't doubt that bitcoin could possibly hit this value but i bet it would take a quite long time before it would materialize. So far all i can say is, the crypto market today was too far different from the crypto market way back year 2017 where the first high ATH were attained but after that year the price correction started and from almost $20k it dropped to over $3500. But what we have a market today was as good as it seems, though i'd still expect that it would undergo such price correction but not that like about 2 years ago.

Anyone can predict any valuation of their choice and these are valuation that might not achieve, suppose the price is able to pump to these high valuation, has anyone thought about the big correction that might follow. As a bitcoin enthusiast i like to see gradual growth in the price rather than having these astronomical valuation and then at the end of it having a big dump.

Today's bull run was really far different compared to what we have on 2017's bull run as the market became stronger and firm due to entering the stage of institutional investors. Now that large institutions are now seeing the potential of crypto reaching $150k is now more clearer, however, I still don't think that it will happen on this current rally, perhaps in the halving, I guess. It is possible but we don't exactly when though. Bitcoin was still unpredictable after all.

For this one I disagree, $390k is possible, yes, but I don't think it is easy to achieve because, to be honest, it's pretty far, it may take a couple of decades for us to witness that enormous amount.

There is a very young FUD that started back in 2017 where people say bitcoin price has been rising only because they print USDT and pump it into bitcoin. That means a lot of newbies believe in such FUDs and think there is some reality there. The fact is that stablecoins in general are mainly used in pump and dumping altcoins and by traders who want to escape the volatility of altcoin market during bitcoin rises when they dump hard. There is also a niche market for those who want to transfer funds between exchanges which is where stable coins come in again.
Most of the times bitcoin/tether volume is less than 10% of the total volume.

Yeah in case Institutional Investors finally take profit there holdings. I sure this will cause a chain effect it will cause panic. They are the one who pump this coin on this current price and they are the only who can dump it. The question was when they will take profit.

No matter how different this current bullrun to the old one. We can’t deny that sooner or later everyone will take profit which means someone will lose in the process.

We are not even half of that $390k so I don't how will it become easy, things will just unfold at the right time, I like the way the market is moving slowly but surely it just proves that we are not in the FOMO and pump and dump phase, adoption is doing great if we are going to reach $390k it will be next year or two years from now.

But many countries are accepting the Bitcoin payment system, so it will really new to survive in current environment. Majority of the traders are make huge profit in this year, It is really good to increase the investors, once it will increase the competitor automatically it will maintain the Bull run. Anything is possible in this world so we always accept the any situation.

In the long term that's for sure, because even in the short term the movement is really amazing, I have said before about bitcoin moves that are very different from the previous bullish trend and today we can see maybe Bitcoin will hit a new ATH soon and I think it will continue in this first quarter. There is so much encouragement and support going on and it's not just happening in bitcoin, because at least some other cryptos have gotten good support so far and so this year really becomes crypto season, hopefully this trend will continue throughout the year.
