You are right, future trading is not a place for newbies. It is not enough when you know the basic technical analyst strategy, you have to be an expert when you start to trading in the future market. I still remember when I started to trading future market, I spend $700 as the main capital. And do you know what I get from my trade in one month? I lost all of them and yeah I really regretted it.

Trading in the future market never make you comfortable when you don't know the ins and out of the characteristic the market itself. Especially the leverage utilization, if you don't know how much leverage that you have to choose then just wait for the second you will lose your money, believe me. I agree trading spot is the best way to start or someone who just learning how technical analyst work. You will be comfortabel although you have seen your investment is decreasing.

This is just for a month, that is huge. Just keep what you are doing, you are on the right track, working on strategies and I think you know the trend already. Just be consistent in what you do, you don't need to change anything with your trades as it was fined and good.

There is only one thing I can say to you is you don't need to be more greedy because this loosens you up and change your mindset.

That's more than 100% gain in a month and I could say that congratulations. Not all can be brave enough to risk such money and let it swing on the foot of losing. But that's how trading it is, if you risk something and have some confidence surely its gonna reward you with more blessings. Spot trading is the best one for me. I dont think future tradkng is really for a trial and error trading cause it could ruin your funds instantly. Slowly but surely will make you profits. Learn more parameters and technique. Later on you can increase your chance to gain more in a more safer method.

If you are aware of this section you will be able to get more than this. There will be risks to trade don't be discouraged, believe and move forward without risking you can follow the trading techniques and signals, you will be able to understand the exact price of the currencies and you will be able to make even more profit.

Going good mate. You should now start thinking about wider portfolio so that you can have more gainers and this way you can overcome the losses in the future if any. I mean for now it seems you are only going after btc/USDT which is pretty stable trade. I am also concluding that you got so much profit because bitcoin was very graceful giving dam good volatility since couple of month. It’s pretty strong factor for spot trading.

Just go ahead with wide portfolio and you may go green twice or thrice what you have currently.

Great job @OP. You made a nice profit. I am sure you will have more chances to make another profit. If you can still learn more lessons, you will have those chances to buy low and sell high.

I like "Keep safe spot-trade, safe game, safe money, and safe profit." We don't have to chase every profit, and it is better to be careful and take profits while you can, but don't be greedy because the market can change the direction. If you can still trade like that, I am sure your profit will be bigger.

But last month we saw a huge pump and dump in crypto. From 4th January 2021 i decided to do a test in spot trading on binance. Then i start with $350. In spot trading. After a whole month today i am happy with this result.  I make a profit of $500. Truely this is huge if you are newbie because for newbie future trading is not user friendly. And i have done this trade as a test perpose. So if you are newbie you can start with spot trading.  It is a friendly suggestion for everyone. It is not for expert traders. Because you guys know what you have to do. Newbie guys can take a safe profit with spot trading and learning more for future trading.

You did well, however whenever I see those kind of profits it worries me, for the most part in order to get profits like that the risks you have to take are important and while you were able to obtain profits at the same time this is only the result of a single month using your strategy, and that is not long enough to tell for sure if what you are doing will allow you to be profitable over the long term.

So be careful, as it is not rare for traders to get those results and then believe they have a winning strategy only to lose everything during the next months when using that very same strategy.

Don't be carried away with good profits you made with trading in the month of January. Luck or perfect analyze gave you this result but you can expect the same amount of returns all the months because we never know how the market movements will be in future. So don't consider you mastered in trading with a test trade, just always remember the risk of losing your portfolio value in no time because the dump can occur any time in crypto market.

Again with luck, don't go all praising your wins because of luck, it invalidates your efforts into something as simple as just throwing a dice. I would go with the perfect analysis because I do believe that the OP has the skill and as OP mentioned, OP is an average trader so OP knows the basics and in and outs of trading. OP just found in his/her analysis that the prices are still going high for awhile so OP seized the opportunity to do spot trading, the only luck that I considered in this situation is that OP has discovered bitcoin and tried to do some trading with it, I mean not everyone will accept the opportunity to learn about bitcoin and trading.

It is very impressive OP, I do hope I can able earn the same as what you have gained now. But unfortunately, I don't have enough time to make money in trading and it seems I am quite a late update of which coins are the best to trade. I am not a signal provider or a trading teacher. I just share my result with you. You please learn your self. And don't believe anyone who says they trade for you and take a percentage from your profit. They can scam with you. Please be aware from this type of scam and make a healthy trading place.

I like this statement at the end because I was feeling like someone is going to sell their trading script or trick as some people do. I am happy for you Imran and keep earning and it is absolutely fine to share some tips and basics about trading here. The problem starts when you start selling those tricks because then you are not trying to help instead trying to sell your methods.

Despite your great profit, I would suggest that don't get carried away because there was a bull run going on as we all know and usually people think they are good at trading while the truth is that they just got lucky as they traded during bull run. I am not saying you are not capable but all I am suggesting is that keep the focus and make sure you are learning the process and basics rather than just watching the profits.

Great job OP. To be honest, I have never made such profits percentage wise within 1 month while spot trading. I always found it harder to make over 150% in profits as compared to my margin trading results. That's one hell of achievement for you! Whatever strategy you are using, it must be awesome  Keep up the good work and remember to be a disciplined trader through you journey.

Yes indeed and I would like to see if OP took too many risks or if there was a safe way to achieve such profits because lets be honest trading can be almost similar to gambling if not taken seriously and you might 10x your money with a new coin but next day lose everything.

Agree. I have seen some of the best traders getting overconfident and losing their grip on the trading skills. Another thing I would like to ask is was he doing leverage trading? Because I still cannot believe someone can make that kind of profits within the first month unless they got super lucky with some coin or just naturally too good.

This is one of the powers of spot trading.
I also ever got this, getting around $200 of XRP in 2 days.
However, after that, I lose around $100 balance because of the decreased price of XRP, until now, still holding some. 

This is what makes Bitcoin and crypto special. We can get big profits surprisingly only in a short time. However, we can also lose a lot of money in short time also.
I am sure that this is not only about luck, but more about analysis, market fundamental research, and also some other reasons.
