I see everyone telling me to pick segwit address or some other trading platform. The thing is that my btc  is stuck at my blockchain address, I've tried swapping for BCH but from those 35$ I'd get 11$ in BCH, not really interested in giving 60% away on fees.

Fees are low as hell right now (6sat/byte) but blockchain still takes a huge chunk when swapping for currencies even tho I remember them saying I could do it without any fees.

EDIT: I've just read my OP and I see that I didn't mention that those 35$ I have are in BTC and on my blockchain address. My bad.

Transaction fees are too high at this time. I think high price of currencies is main problem of it.  Wink

Mainly,  Transaction fees of BTC, ETH is too high.

The issue has not been resolved since the end of last year even before the ethereum 2.0 update was implemented. I think it is all over and is the solution to high transaction fees. but until now when the price increases you can see that many tokens also increase the price but the value will run out when you see such expensive transaction fees.

Huge eth transaction fees right now everydays. It's really a crazy fees because if i gonna 100$ transaction then i will need 30-40$ fees. With the increase in the price of eth, the transaction fees are increasing which is not really surprising and acceptable. I think there may be a long gap between these fees to decrease.

High Fee is now a big problem for low income investor. Of course no one can bear 20% fee.
I have some solution for you to avoid high fee.
First choose Binance P2P trading where you will get Usd or Btc without any fee. Then trade for BCH.
2nd one is tobuae FTX exchange. Send trc20 to Ftx and exchange this xoin with BCH. Ftx has no withdraw fee . you can withdraw btc,Eth,BCH without any fee to any wallet or exchange.

Very valuable advice for now that the majority of people are struggling to cope with extremely high transaction fees. I never thought to do the way you say. I hope your advice is useful for me and for people who are struggling in trading. Thank you for the advice. and I am sure a lot of people will use the advice you convey on this thread.

I have about 35$ that I'd like to buy BCH with, but with the transaction fees, I can barely get 8$ out of those 35$. Anyone know a way to buy BCH on blockchain directly from your BTC balance? Also, Could I maybe set a low low fee and use transaction accelerator to push it through?
This situation is very hard to accept, I have faced it so many times. Now either use top centralized exchange or use wallet with swap features. Now you could use swap features (to avoid transaction cost) to exchange another coin from Bitcoin Cash. Without any centralized exchange, we can't avoid these sky high fees. Tron blockchain is the safest one to use at a low cost.

You can try sending your coins to an exchange with a lower fee and wait for hours/days for confirmation. Once it gets confirmed you can trade your bitcoins for BCH. Or maybe get some other coins that has very low transaction fee.
You can try using those transaction acceleration services (there are free tx acc. services, some people try to "sell" those. So be careful!), but I doubt that is going to work, but since it is going to cost you nothing, you can give it a go.

It turns out that ETH is growing and this attracts investors. User activity overloads the network and, as a result, commissions increase. This whole situation should sooner or later return to normal. But so far, high fees of course interfere with transactions and spoil the reputation of Ethereum.

Just a curious question. Why are you trying to buy BCH?  Huh
I don't see it getting a good hype anytime soon. Will it be used for a different purpose?

If you really want a little cheaper tx fees you can use other coins.
But if you do insists to force your way then check the time where there is no heavy traffic for tx's.

Fees are the major concerns right now, bitcoin has high transaction fees, Ethereum has high transaction fees, it's really a horrible experience if anyone transacts in Ethereum right now except the person is a whale who is not concerned about fees, few days ago, I lost about $150 usd on Ethereum through uniswap, it's was really a painful experience cus that money is a lot my country's currency

please use another platform to make transactions whose transaction fees are easier than you are using the ethereum platform which currently requires a very large fee. Currently ethereum is not normal in terms of transaction fees and this is what many people complain about because it has hindered the process of transactions they want to send to various market exchanges. I hope this problem will be resolved quickly.

I would probably use a wallet that has a built-in exchange to swap BTC to BCH. Fees are likely going up as the asset value goes up, High fees is really a burden to the small transaction and not really worth to transaction because of the fee. Actually I always go for the low fee and accelerating it but Some Transaction accelerator need some payments but there are some on the internet that provides free accelerator.

Well, this is not an issue for only investors or people who trade on daily basis but it is an issue for people like me who get paid weekly because of the payments in ETH and other ERC-20 Tokens my payments are delayed to next week because of the fee. I am really angry about the gas prices. That is why most new Defi projects are getting hands-on Quickswap, Lower fees, and fast transactions.

It's horrible. I have not seen such prices since 2017, I was sure that Vitalik will be able to switch to POS and we will no longer see such huge prices, but as you can see, nothing happened and now we have to pay

Yeah that's a very big problem for small investors like us. I also feel same problem. For some coins the transaction fees are too high. If yiu send small amount of coin you can lose almost everything. see I normally change my hole balance to trx if I have to send something from one exchange to another and I send it to other and and change again to usdt or whatever I want. Otherwise you have to pay the fees that's it.

You just have to be smart, look for the coin that has a very low transaction cost, just like DOGE and TRX is good too. Me, I only send coins to gambling site and I use them to save from fees, just like other people, I only send a small amount in gambling sites, so fees would really hurt me if I don't know how to find a way to minimize it.

These high fees are disgusting. What I suggest you don't do is send the transaction with slow gas as you're risking losing the gas fee and end up with a failed transaction.

Perhaps, you could transfer your money to an exchange platform like Binance where the fee might not be that high and then buy BCH from there???

Or else just wait until the fees drop as otherwise you will not have  much luck in buying much with the little money you'll be left over with.

Why would uou buy BCH ? It is not even close to litecoin supporter. BCH with only small transaction already coat you that high fees, ut is proof of BCH will have problem in the future when the price is sky rocketing. The most cheapest transaction fees is litecoin and dash and dogecoin now.

The transaction is very high these days which users are complaining. When you buy your funds you can only get a small amount the fee is high than the token you will buy. As I’ve read from others we have an options on this case using p2p you can have a small fee which I also try in binance.

I'm low volume trader and investor if you can call me that lol... What I do is use Binance if possible... If not i try to move my money with coins which are not eth20 and have low fees...

That is for withdrawing but for depositing to exchange you will still have to spend exorbitant fees this is a big issue if your account is on a stand alone wallet like Electrum and Green Wallet that will be your issue having a hard time getting my small amount of Bitcoin on these two exchange , if you are on Exodus, there is an exchange there that you can use just be sure you have the right amount to trade they have a minimum amount to trade.

With 35 $ in BCH and withdrawals will be very high.  So I can suggest, 35 $ option to buy TRX, XRP, DOGE ... these are good trend coins, low conversion fee.  Go to the current good quality DEX like UNiswap, Justswap and hash it for BCH when you want.  By this method, you will get a cheaper price Smiley)
