hold is a good choice for now, because the ATH price for LTC is $ 375.29 (Dec 19, 2017) and currently the price of LTC is $ 161.38, so of course if the price of LTC reaches its ATH price then you will get a big profit, because for now I see that several cryptocurrency have reached their ATH price or even make a new ATH price (such as BTC, ETH, DOT, BNB, DOGE), so there is a big opportunity for the price of LTC to reach its ATH price too and even make a new ATH price, therefore HOLD is the right choice for LTC at this time.

I agree with the top poster. For right now it's all about holding, and not that trading is bad but I wouldn't want to lose any dime due to a bad decision. LTC has done about 9.7% up trade as @ now just from today's movement and I strongly believe most Alts will do their previous ATH and if you don't see yourself as a good trader, I suggest you HODL till you get a comfortable level of profit

Trading Litecoin paired with Bitcoin is not very profitable in my opinion. I think that litecoin will show good growth over a distance in dollar equivalent, to increase the amount of your bitcoins see other pairs.

Needs to break $200 first. Yes it's mooning and so are the rest of the altcoins, but LTC have a lot of mental barriers to overcome before we can say that it is on a bull run. As I mentioned, it needs to pass $200 because this seems to be the biggest hurdle in front of LTC. If it will have a break out run then I will say that it will continue and go to $250.

LTC is mooning but it's also loosing a lot in bitcoin and ethereum pairs. When you are holding bitcoin or ethereum and you could get more than it. LTC is good to be used for long term portfolios.
Just keep your LTC if bitcoin is still increasing a lot. When bitcoin will increase and litecoin will get impact from the bullish trend that happened with bitcoin.
It may be late but litecoin will increase after bitcoin has done with its pump.

if my advice is better you sell your LTC when you have made a profit and then you invest in Ethereum or Polkadot, because in my opinion it's more profitable than investing in LTC and of course if you invest in Ethereum and Polkadot, then you will definitely get a lot of profit quickly than you invest in LTC, because Ethereum and Polkadot are the best altcoin for now.

If anyone want to hodl LTC , than go for USDT pair or any stablecoin pair, not in BTC pair. Reason is just simple, LTC price movement in BTC pair isn't that much bullish if we compare to previous alt season and it's only on downtrend. So, enjoy alt season of LTC ( as long as hype is going on) on USDT pair, not in BTC, IMHO.

Yes, it's still quite inexpensive if you really are looking to the market. There's still more for Litecoin but for those who are holding it already, you need to be patient.

Litecoin is a chaser and this is always what you need to understand. It has a history of coming behind etheruem and playing closely to etheruem but gets cut in the middle to retrace backward. However this is still a good move as it is yet to touch ATH. Hodling for a while won't be too much risk because bitcoin and etheruem are still doing up.

On the weekly time frame litecoin price has met a correction, at least there are three correction candles but now it will be different with the current candle that will be formed. The candle that will be formed at this week will be bullish engulfing candle which mean the correction is over and the bullish trade will continue.

Let say, if the price movement forming an ABCD pattern then the next price that will be reached is $240. I use weekly candle and it will be long term prediction. Also, that is based on technical analyst only, if the situation can continue, I mean the market sentiment is not change. It will be different if something bad happen, especially in the fundamental factor.

I always advice people to hold Litecoin with Bitcoin, for me as long as Bitcoin is doing well, Litecoin price will catch up with it, there are two Altcoins that will not die Litecoin and Doge, they will continue to be in top 100 Market cap because most people holding them are OG's and will continue to protect their investment unlike most of these Altcoins out there

I already have 15% profit from LTC at the moment and my strategy right now is hold and take profit if its reach minimum 30% profit.
But im not believe that LTC will have any big pump like ETH or BTC this time, so i will move to another Coin after the trade reach my target.

The best thing for you to hodl your litecoin but you can take it for long, i never suggest you take litecoin for short. Litecoin is always surging after bitcoin pump.
Im just learning from the old pattern and it keeps repeating anytime.

Never try to take litecoin for short and it's not so profitable as another altcoin.

History repeats itself, there is a high chance the price of LTC will go above $200. The resistance line is above $190, I dunno the price will fall hard if the market buyers can hold the LTC upper side of $150. In all cases, it is risky to invest in overprices altcoins now, I wait for correction. The current market price is around $160 but this temporary resistance will be broken if the market bulls can hold the price above $150. Let's see what the new trend by Btc will do to the rest of the crypto market.
