There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

There is a real risk of SEC spoiling the party, although the chances are pretty low. In India, they are bringing up a bill to prohibit Bitcoins and specifically they are asking the institutions to stay away from cryptocurrency. However, since the American government is run by more competent people I don't think that the SEC will bring any such law, which will prohibit the investment by institutions. But they can always create new obstacles, which may make it difficult for the institutions to move some of their money to cryptocurrency.

We cannot tell or predict when will the market go into bearish momentum once again knowing for a fact the market is in very good shape and many big institutions, millionaires and billionaires are now getting involved in crypto community so lets hope then that this bullish run will not gonna stop.

Just a curious question.
How long can this BULL run last??

Which coin should we buy now?
No one can answer your first question exactly. Everyone here can just express their ideas. However, looking at the market condition, it seems that the bullrun will remain for some more time.

You can buy any top coin now. Because when the price goes up all the coins go up and when it goes down all the coins go down. However, some of my favorite coins are DOT, BNB, LINK. You can buy these if you want.

there is no wrong time to buy if you really want to get big profit, just need extra patience. look at the price of bitcoin year on year. there was not single drop in prices when viewed from the annual price. all decisions rests with each person

Just a curious question.
How long can this BULL run last??
As there will be a huge correction inevitably.

Would love to hear different strategies or exit plans or Hodlers
Which coin should we buy now?

Guidance from old Experts would be appreciated!

I believe that the whole of 2021 will be the year of cryptocurrency growth. My conviction is based on the history of the development of the crypto market, where you can see the cyclical nature of all processes. I think it's no longer a secret that each cycle lasts four years and the last year of each cycle is a year of growth and new highs for cryptocurrencies. 2017 was the last year of the previous cycle and we saw a lot of growth in cryptocurrencies. We add four years and we get 2021, which should also be the year when the cryptocurrency will show new heights. As for which crypto asset to buy now, I believe that this question is difficult to answer, because many cryptocurrencies have already shown growth. Most likely, you should pay attention to those cryptocurrencies that have not yet reached their previous highs.

no one can pinpoint the exact time for that matter, while this bullrun market is the one we've been waiting for over 2 years. If you are a long-term investor or a long-term coin holder then this is a good opportunity to sell coins and make a profit.
I agree that while the market is still showing a good reaction it is not wrong to buy and trade short term.
because the market tends to go up and down even though in the end it will move up, you can still take profits when the market breaks or goes sideways.
I do agree that there is a good chance of trading and making money on quick trades at the same time, but when you can make a profit by just holding and that is a lot easier to make profit with lesser risks, many probably pick that as well. I do agree that there is money to be made trading and that is true but that doesn't mean we should stop holding as well.

For this type of situation I have a suggestion, have 20% of your portfolio aside for trading, that way your 80% will be holding and you will be putting your money into things that are bit names, bitcoin and ethereum and bnb and stuff like that and hold it. For the other 20% you could trade however you want, when it grows and it becomes bigger than 20%, you keep it and keep trading, if one day your trading becomes 50% because you traded a lot and earned money, just keep it that way, but do not put money from holding coins into trading.

Indeed, buying now makes no difference if the price will eventually pump in the future, let's say 10 years from now and bitcoin will explode to $500k, that's still x10 profit and that's a huge return for 10 years.  Looking at the price history, bitcoin might rise more than that as the demand will continue, but even at that rate only, it's still a huge profit for HOLDING.

^ Your suggestion is good because we don't know when until this bull run ends, once you have profited, just cut it off and set aside the remaining or the original amount from the date you have to purchase your coin. All of these are very promising copins to invest in long-term, BTC, ETH, ADA, and BNB probably POLKADOT too. We are in a bull market as of now, let us grab the opportunity to take profit because anytime soon for sure there is a massive correction, but so far, nobody knows when it will pump.

i know a pullback is going on right now on cryptomarket and on the off chance that we can't rise once more, at that point I surmise the amendment will begin and we're returning to the bear market once more. The buyer market keep going as long as there's an interest on the lookout, yet on the off chance that the purchasers are taken over by the merchants, at that point that is the ideal opportunity for the bull to end and there's no particular time for that and i still think we are having a bull run and would love to see more upward trends

The simplest and most honest, but at the same time the right answer - as long as people want it. Once in a while everyone asks themselves the question but no one wants to accept the simple truth that a bull run in the cryptocurrency market is possible only because people want it to be. When people come to the conclusion that cryptocurrencies are not something that is embedded in them and that in fact they are just playing thimbles and instead of "fighting" (as far as it is possible to imagine) with fiat, they only stimulate it with their behavior - someone will be disappointed and calm down after realizing that all the words around cryptocurrencies are solid lies, and someone will stay and wait for a new "trip to the moon" to collect the last cream in life. The question here is rather worth putting in a different way - when will people understand that cryptocurrency is not a means of profit but a means of turnover?

I am reading through your post and I really don't understand most of the things you're saying, however, in relation to this your point

"someone will be disappointed and calm down after realizing that all the words around cryptocurrencies are solid lies and someone will stay and wait for a new "trip to the moon" to collect the last cream in life."

So what exactly do you mean by this? Are you saying crypto trading/Hodl are not profitable? which I know for a fact are and is the major reason all go into crypto trading.

And when you concluded with this...
"The question here is rather worth putting in a different way - when will people understand that cryptocurrency is not a means of profit but a means of turnover?"

Turnover
"often, turnover is used to understand how quickly a company collects cash from accounts receivable or how fast the company sells its inventory."

So I would relate that to how quickly you can make profits from your crypto investment which all bores down to Profits bcos to me, Turning over-investment in crypto is making a profit.

As an investor, it depends on how soon or how long you wish to wait to take profits or what kind of strategy you adopt in taking profits is up to you because there will definitely be a pullback so the strategy like I said is all yours.

Maybe it can last until the end of 2021 with the current outbreak conditions making some people active in the investment world. In my opinion, to choose a coin at a time like this, you can choose BTC as your coin asset for the long term and chances are that this year's crypto coins will be very good.

i cant predict a date but i think the correction will happen after the btc price breaks 48,ooo dollar because this is going to be the first that we will reach that price .

if you want to buy a btc , dont buy it today but buy after the correction but you can buy altcoins that are not in thier bull runs . keep in mind that they can be affected if btc corrected but you can continue hodling till btc's correction was done because your alts will return after to normal after that

I'm sure you've made a lot of money from this year's bull run. because it looks like the bull movement this year looks more stable and tends to take a long time. maybe because of the positive news related to crypto and bitcoin. I hope the correction won't happen any time soon.
However, if the correction occurs in the near future it will also be very good for everyone, especially for those who have not had the chance to buy at a low price in the past few weeks, so that they can have a new opportunity to capture tokens from below prices.
We know it will come, but for now let people enjoy what they are doing.

During bull run, it's good to play the market because usually good coins are in bullish movement, but of course correction and bearish period will come, if it will not come soon, the better but we should still prepare for the impact in the market.

Yes, the current increase in bitcoin price has affected the price increases of other top altcoins. You can also make the most of it to benefit from trading and investing during a bullish market. but it also needs to be remembered as said by the man above, to always be ready if at any time the market experiences a downward correction.

apart from the obvious corrections and retracements which are snow-free in my opinion this new bull run will last at least until the end of the year
seeing the current market conditions in a quite positive trend, it looks like this bull run will last a little longer as you predict at this time, especially now that many large companies are starting to adopt bitcoin as an alternative to their investment and the latest news is that Tesla is one of the companies owned by Elon Musk has bought up quite a lot of bitcoin and of course this indicates that bitcoin is starting to be accepted by the world community as a means of the investment and also an alternative to money as a means of a payment.

that is the dilemma. sometimes a trader and investor get carried away with the mood when the market is in the pump. when a drop occurs it will assume it is just a small correction signal and will return in the pump. but when the big dump occurs many of them are not ready to sell at a loss on the assets they own.

It's better to take some profits in the bullish season as trader or investors to be on a safer side once the bullish runs end a massive correction will follow suit meanwhile some hodlers or investors who ought to have taken some profits will begin to regret for not taking their profits thus will have to endure another wait for a new bullish season price history always repeat itself we should take profits at the appropriate season and buy dip.

The rush of institutional Investors into the network is definitely one of the reason for the bull run and it's sustainability as well, we can now state categorically that the believe in Bitcoin amongst people and companies has grown thicker. This present bull run is quite different from the previous ones, with corporations now holding Bitcoin in it's billions, there's definitely support for the coin, and a serious plunge is prolly improbable to happen.
For Bitcoiners, If you're a short term investor, then such people should consider taking their ROI when there's an appreciation in the price. As for long term Investors, corrections will surely happen and we've seen quite a lot of them, and there's no reason to fret over it, cause the price will definitely bounce back.

It seems to me that very few people will be able to really assess the situation and predict the end of the market growth or the transition of the market to another phase. Therefore it is useless to look for an answer here. All this is nothing more than just guessing.
