Head to your profile page -> click on "Merit". Here's the direct link to your stats: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=2718233If you're ever going through a profile of someone with a lot of merits, and you wanted to go beyond the 120 days limit and filter them for instance, you can use BPIP.

And one more information for you in the future, if you don't know how to send sMerit to other members. 1. Press the left and as shown below. 2. Enter the amount of sMerit that you want to give to other members. See as shown below. finished hopefully useful.

Is there any other method of finding out??
So to summarize, there are several methods available to view your merit history: Note: 2718233 is your UID on bitcointalk.org

Am amazed that this is not known to you, if you know how to go to your profile, and you know how to see your merit then you can see your merit is in blue meaning it's click-able then if your curiousity is right you would click it and then all this would be known to you, I always advice -Newbie- which I think you not one, to search more.

Overlook my rank and the age of my account.... am still one.... There is a reason for the long inactive period #1 being the confusing look of the website the first time I visited it.... And Yah I didnt even check if the "merit" was click able... am going to delete my post in the next 24hrs

You can't delete a thread that contains posts from other members. You can however delete or edit individual posts, but I would suggest you don't do that. Each post should serve as a reference point for others who come here searching for the same answers.
Regarding your question about the decaying of merits. Merits don't decay. The admin can demerit you and remove your merits but that has never happened just because a user didn't use them. Users who receive merits are expected to reward others as well. More precisely, they should do that. Otherwise, the system wouldn't make sense. Before I merit someone, I usually check if that person sends merits the same way he or she receives them. If they don't, I will often find other merit worthy posts to reward.

I meant the sMerits.... but since you said that it doesn't decay I will take your word for it.... I did saw such a post subconsciously on this forum.... else the idea of "decay" wouldn't even pop up in my head

That part applies to the merit sources. Each of them gets a monthly number of merits to share with the community, and if they don't spend them, they disappear over time. At least that's how I figured it out.Looks like I might be wrong about this after all. I couldn't find a reference, so I have no idea why I thought so.

I meant the sMerits.... but since you said that it doesn't decay I will take your word for it.... I did saw such a post subconsciously on this forum.... else the idea of "decay" wouldn't even pop up in my head Watch out when talking about "decay" of sMerit because that may happen. If you click on any "+Merit" option in a post (in order to give Merit to the OP) you are greeted with this message: You have received a total of XX merit. This is what determines your forum rank. You typically cannot lose this merit. You have Y sendable merit (sMerit) which you can send to other people. There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future. The wording on the quoted message implies that sMerit can indeed decrease, so why don't you use your hard earned sMerit in recognizing useful posts for the community?

I wouldn’t worry about sMerit decay too much really. True that it could potentially happen, and the phrase you quoted leaves the door ajar just in case, acting as an incentive to distribute it "just in case". Were it to be set in motion, I’m pretty sure it would be well announced, and likely start to impact in accordance to sMerit age. The first to be impacted, in any case, would be the sMerits received during the initial airdrop, which took place over three years ago, and there hasn’t been an inkling on this goint to really take place. The above though, doesn’t contradict the fact that there is no need to hoard them, and that the more in circulation (with criteria), the merrier.
