2021 ICO was already a shitty investment, only people who does not understand the market will loss money.

Honestly, I don't loss any but I have not recover from my loses yet on the tokens I hold until now, ICO was successful in the past but it seems its time is over and even those successful ICO projects before are not even existing in the market now, they are almost worthless if they ever exist due to lack of development and lack of support from the people.

I've lost more than that to crypto, in 2019 January I lost 1800$ to a crappy altcoin and in 2020 March I lost 3600$ to ESH, a stupid altcoin hyped by john mcafee and a stupid developer who called himself Josh, shit happens no deny about it, if you can learn from your mistake you can make more money back even than what you've lost already

lol, i also heard about that project , and for sure , i want to try too , but on that time , Option ROOM also arrived , since ROOM have soo many users on telegram , also more promising based on project category , so , i just choose room  , but well , Room also get Rekt since the first come, at least not much like Razor i guess , eventhough i am buying on the high price.
what i've learned by that ICO is be more patience, at least waiting a few hours after sale open .

I think its basically your own fault . You should have researched into it. The pre sale price was 0.03 and the balancer price was around 70 cents. You should have not bought knowing that 10% of private sale was unlocked on same time.

yeah, so many people still fall for nonsense ICO's in 2021. most of the ICO's coins/tokens never listed on the market after their sale. but some people still trusted the ICO projects. they just invested their money in some coins that have uncertain price. there are so many existing coins that we can invest right now that will give us a big profit, but some people still join an ICO

The golden ICO days are long gone which is a good thing. That was the true bubble back then and in my opinion one of the reasons everything collapsed in 2018. There was just too many projects that took their ICO money and forgot about their promises. For most of them it was no point on developing further since they wouldnt see that much money again.

Dude, this is nothing. Meet TowerX project way back from 2017-18 year. The project had its SAAS based software management system which is usually used in CRM projects. The company had whole set up like team members, physical presence of company and the big thing is its still running.

One day these guys thought of running the ICO for fund raising and providing services for crypto users. They ran the ICO and raised freaking millions of dollars.

Guess what I invested heavily into it considering the companies amazing portfolio. However, today the companies token is worth 0.001 cents or less!!! It was ATH at 0.30 USD. It is so much heart breaking when you end with such projects.

Never dared to put a single penny into ICO again after this. 

I bet there are thousands of people who invested in this project since their bounty was pretty active on the forum.

Agreed,,, I think all the scams and problematic projects running on speculator and hype interest should die. Even now we should see Defi rekts coming up soon at the end of 2021 or 2022. All these "bad" events are good learning and will make the industry and the investors more mature, wiser. Trustless is a thing crypto people forget about:)

the problem is that many young investors do not really know the projects they support. they do not know the product, the uses of the product, and also the technology that supports their product. with the big money, you will put on a project that you don't know how the money will develop? think about it carefully, in the market, there are already projects that are actually running and have a market. It is safer to invest on IEO than ICO because IEO is more secure than ICO.
IEO in trusted exchange is very recommended for investors who want to invest on some new crypto projects.
After ICO, usually we will have to wait for exchange listing if we want to buy or sell the token, but in IEO, we can trade our token on the exchange without waiting because it is already listed on the exchange.

I create a new coin, tell you that if you give me 100 dollars I will give you 10k of these new coins that I created, and you give me that money because you think exchange is in the way so this project can't be scam, and you feel fine about it. That makes no sense to me, even if the project is not a scam, in the end it could turn out to be a failed project but I think there is still a huge disadvantage of giving money to someone because they created a coin out of nothing and convinced people with it.

This is why DeFi projects are better, I have seen so many that had zero preminted coins, zero coins available, and it released so everyone in the world had the equal chance to own that coin, owners didn't suddenly had tens of millions of it, that is why they are much better.

If you invest in cryptocurrency then you must be prepared for the risk (the price go down), especially if you invest in ICO, because for now there are only a few ICO is successful and the price can immediately increase very high, so instead of investing in ICO then you better invest in cryptocurrency that is in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, because the price will definitely increase and of course the risk is less than you invest in ICO, so you will definitely make a profit.

With that money you better invest on well known coins such ETH, doge, LTC, BTC and others rather than put your money on shitty project. Because currently many project only want fast money by doing ICO and abandon their project later that's why ICO very risky.

That's really pain in the ass losing such amount of money after investing with shit project, either you didn't py attention with
your research or you've been move by someone.

Very risky investment as the  chance of profiting from this old method already passed, before you can earned a lot with ico
