This might happen when the DOT will always give more and more good news to attract more people to buy DOT coin. I guess it's impossible for DOT to reach such rate consider with its total supply.

The Polkadot project and DOT coins are one of the most promising investments in the current year. I can compare them with Monero and Uni. DOT has a huge potential, I invested 20% of my bank in it. But the percentage of staking is so small. I hope to see DOT fly to the moon!

I don't think $1000 is very realistic in this bull and very impossible to happen but one thing is sure that there will be no significant drop in DOT even though other coins drop in recent time. As you can see, the price is very stable and thr growth rate is low which I think very good for long time.
On a side note, more than 50% coin are locked in staking which means the circulation is too low. Considering Grayscale have registered for Polkadot, if they start accepting fund for DOT and invest in DOT, $1000 will be very possible.

Polkadot total supply is 1 billion coin, it make dot will never touch that price, i think the best price for Dot is arround $100-$150 if many developer use dot for their dapps, dont forget there is BNB and ADA which will be competitor for Dot.

Nothing happens overnight, of course before dot will hit close to such a high price will take some time and many tries, eth did not become this expensive overnight, it took some years, the bottom line is, dot is a competitive project and has what it takes to have a high price in the future, if it happens so suddenly then it becomes questionable because it will mean it was artificially pumped and not because it increases organically.
