Your technically right but it's not that easy if your investment is just 500$ in bitcoin you gonna need a 1000% increase in the market price to get the profit of 5000$ so probably yes 5years of investment or less.

I'm not a financial advisor or a technical analyst, to know if its the top already, its difficult to know that and probably no one would accurately know how the price is gonna end up, but what you could do is increasing your chance of winning, so remember that there is always a big risk of investing in bitcoin because of the volatility in crypto, but if you do your research about bitcoin with the supply and demand thing in the market we could predict that the price would increase in the coming years if its continue just like that because there were just so many things that affecting the market price of bitcoin like manipulations, etc.

Do you know that at many places the banks they shut off the accounts and don't even provide a good reason for that.
Do you know that the stocks are manipulated highly?
Do you know that financial freedom is much more important right now !! especially during a pandemic.
Do you know that cryptocurrencies do provide a lot of people with income and helps their businesses go online. The tax and the 1000 conditions the government has and the files you have to submit even before starting an online business would make you discouraged already.

Holding 1BTC doesn't really make you richer but if you do it the right way by converting it to USD and then wait again for price to dip, your BTC could turn into 5BTC. Bitcoin is a great hedge against many things" almost everything you can possibly own".  So if you store your wealth in fiat it's almost guaranteed to lose value over the years, the other alternatives are either hard to actually own or can be owned but cost a lot to store, this gives bitcoin a huge advantage over everything else including gold, so in other words, even if you don't view bitcoin as a decentralized "be your own bank" invention, it's very naive to not see it as a great hedge against inflation.

By owning Bitcoin you can be sure to a great extent that in the coming years your wealth is going to be at least the same if not worth a lot more as opposed to owning fiat, and since Bitcoin has a very smaller market cap compared to the other "options" such as gold, it has a lot of room to outperform gold on the scale of probabilities, obviously, it's safer to just own gold but you will, in theory, be rewarded for the extra risk of owning bitcoin against gold or any other more stable/safer hedge.

As for becoming ultra-rich by investing in bitcoin, I am afraid you are a few years late to the party, diminishing returns is a real thing, and the days of investing $1000 to turn it into 1M in a few years are long gone, but that does not mean you can't become richer, it's just that you will need say 20M to get 100M in say 5-10 years, but if you don't already have that much - then there is probably no hope.

Remember BTC isn't a wealth making machine, people are expecting too much from BTC and I believe it's naive at best.

You've been making a lot of threads and you still haven't come up with how bitcoin can make you rich? well, if you're one of the earliest investors or buyers of bitcoin which were around cents to two digits or even three digits. You're in good life now if you're likely to sell most of it.

But being rich in general doesn't have to be dependent on bitcoin. You need to work a lot and if you're asking someone how you can be rich on it, you're wanting a shortcut without realizing you can end up broke with that mentality.

There is no rocket science with bitcoin in its use and even less it is a dream-making machine, if you want to see it as a currency, as something that has to give benefits. Ok! What do you do with dollars to get rich?

Most people think about profit but profit does not only mean $$$! What matters is the value of your coins in goods that you can buy.

The real fun will begin when you can spend 1 bitcoin and buy a house without ever pricing anything in fiat or going through fiat money as the middle man.

I see bitcoin as independent money that the government can't take from me and monitor. Money that doesn't inflate and cannot be stopped from going through unlike bank transfers when a bank can refuse to process it.
