What do you think about DASH coin? Could see the ATH Again?

Hi, guys hope you are doing great and enjoying this mini bull run in crypto market.

As Tittle said I am looking for some Expert opinion about DASH coin. What we are seeing most of the coins are Pumping hard recently one by one. Also some are touching the last ATH what happened during 2017's bull run. But only one coin ( DASH) that I am noticing, it did not make any good move yet. Even they don't  follow the BITCOIN or ETHEREUM move. But DASH was very old coin and we know the name of DASH after ETH 2-3 years ago. But what happened recently with DASH? It was number 10th coin in cmc and it’s ath was 1600 dollars. Recently they are continuously  losing their position even they are now 45th number coin in coinmarketcap and it’s price around $115 today.

What do you think about this coin? Is there any good move we can see?

I just looked at the chart and noticed that the old pump happened from 27-01 at $94.30 where it is now at $116.41 the dash retracement is not yet over while it may last for about 4-5 days. Possibly the new pump will happen shortly because it has some good trading volumes. Also looking at the official Twitter page of Dash, there's no recent news that will skyrock the price at any given time, just a few days ago dash was listed on liquid exchange.

If you see, many coins have done 10-40x from their lows and I can say that it is possible to see many of them reaching their ATHs if the bull market continues.

About DASH, its ATH was 1640 USD and now it is 117. Due of the fact that DASH is an alt with very big market cap and it is still minable with 50% of its supply to have been mined, it means it still has inflation and it is very difficult to hit ATH any time soon in my opinion.

Correct. But it has very limited supply according to other top altcoins like ETH LTC etc.

I think if DASH was meant to go higher then it already would have. Many of the alt coins which were booming back in 2017 are not pumping this cycle. This cycle is mostly based on DeFI tokens. Look at how many others coin there are that would have went up already which are standing still doing nothing. I think DASH is one of those.

The fact that its a privacy coin is a negative trait due to all the regulations that is going on. XMR, ZEC and DASH all got removed from Bittrex a couple of weeks back and hence investors are scared to get involved.

I remember when DASH hit $100 for the first time, some guy shorted it on Poloniex with low-leverage, because he knew it would go back to $10 for sure. Well he ended up getting margin called for like 20 BTC when it hit $1600 a few months later. Then shortly after it reached a low of $35 and his trade would of been in huge profit if it wasnt for that margin call.

Yeah those three privacy coin is delisted from binance. It’s  a bad news but I don't think this may affect a lot on these coins Imo. Because Bittrex has very lower volume recently.

Xrp also was delisted from coinbase but they are still participating in the bull run race. But very sad to see DASH in this position.

It seems that we have seen a lot of growth in altcoins, whether potential or long ago, some have even reached ATH like ethereum. and the great thing is there are new coin comers who actually get rid of the old coin ranking surprisingly.

Altcoin is growing very fast at the moment and I don't see anything on Dash at all and I don't understand why there isn't any significant movement, and the annual chart has only increased by 11.5% while the others are very significant.

To be able to reach the renewable ATH from Dash is likely to be difficult this year and it may take a long time to achieve it, although in crypto there can be surprises.
currently the dash has only reached $ 143, of course if you look at the% with the longest ATH it is clear that it is quite far and the possibility of a surprise might be a bit difficult. but in general the coin dash includes improvements, we are waiting for Dash to make a surprise.

I did not have much Dash but I already sold it all off just before the doge run,,, used it to store more BTC as I expected the Bitcoin rally to continue, which it did. I personally think privacy coins are the next ones to enjoy big market jumps but I prefer to stash it all in Monero instead. Could be wrong but you cannot go wrong with BTC!

I don't really see a relationship between XRP and DASH when it comes to privacy.
However, it is true that tokens offering more privacy than others, ie DASH, Monero .. will have problems staying on centralized exchanges. If exchanges start to remove them, the volumes will drop and, consequently, their popularity and price will drop.
I do not recommend it as a long-term investment.

Honestly it could have an unexpected increase but I do not think it will be at ATH anytime soon. By logic crypto currencies all go up overtime because more and more people use it and like it and invest into it so maybe one day DASH will pass the ATH but it is not going to outpace any of the higher and better currencies.

While everything else increased like hell DASH was going down in the list, sure it went up in price too that is true, but growing higher slower than others growing higher is basically the problem and that is what I think is the problem. This is why I think DASH may not be a great choice to invest right now, it is getting less and less wanted. The biggest thing they had was the masternode passive income thing and now with defi that is not even that tempting and it is definitely not good at all, defi tokens are a lot better at that topic.

First of all, every coin in the cryptocurrency market are not accountable for new ATH price during the bullish season and the long existence of coin can't be used to judge either but the coexistence with the consistent of coins is what should be use go judge. However, Dash experienced a huge knockdown when the US SEC raises red flag on privacy coin and in the dApp setting most Dev choose to use ETH than other coin while the major investors are institutions with some whales these are the major thing we need to examine to understand why Dash coin price is at $100-200 range.
With that been said, the price of Dash is still fair judging by all what I stated.

I consider the tendency to pump a struggle for the coin. At least the entrancement should be more than half of the previous ATH by now. Except there is a news to sell for Doge-like spike in price I dont see the coin attain the previous ATH in this market. It is important to research what is happening with the team behind the project, I hope their relationship is healthy. I also thinking the Defi option is paying so well with the market if they could adopt it.

That is what expect so far with the DASH coin because I still see that coin has a big chance to increase again.
It seems, DASH and Litecoin trying to compete with each other to get a better position in the market because the price does not have too big a gap at a price.
But we will see which one can increase later, and we will see how high DASH coin price will increase.
But if it is just to reach for $200, DASH will have that chance.
What DASH needs now is how they can lift their position at the market to give confidence for their investors to back to the project.

I used to read tons of news about DASH in South America, along with Bitcoin Cash. Merchants everywhere, ATMs even and people were all saying they were fleeing their local currencies and choosing Dash and other crypto. But the funny thing is when I met people from there, none of them knew anything other than Bitcoin.

Plus we all remember Dash's shady beginnings. But if ETH can forget the dark past I guess Dash can too?
