I agree with your whole post, but I should add that there is still a lot to be learned from the history. And it is not about history repeating.
For example the simplest and first thing anybody would learn by looking at bitcoin charts is that the market is very volatile and sudden drops and sudden rises are normal and don't have to have some big reason behind them.

I think some who enter the bitcoin market see it as tool to become rich overnight as they see prices rising and people getting profits completely ignoring the charts and volatility factor and when it's start going down or whenever we witness correction in the market they start selling off in panic so they need to understand this thing that it's volatile and prices fluctuate each second due to market fluctuations but they still keep going on the same old track and loose the money because they don't have patience and understanding of the market.

The popularity of bitcoin has been known before Elon Musk found interest in crypto. I get to find out about bitcoin through the media, and friends. Not from Elon Musk.

Those type of hypes do happen all the time, usually it stayed with social media but this time around it became part of regular media as well, you started to see stuff about bitcoin and even smaller coins in the crypto world about altcoins as well.

I remember watching "coin founders" online as well, made no sense to me since I prefer decentralized projects, and seeing people who created their own coins to be talking on TV made no sense to me, it was still a good thing about media having some attention period towards all cryptos. Now we are back in bear market and not see that much on TV, we hear about it on newspapers but not on TV, which I am sure will change when the bull comes and we will be back on TV again.

Whenever the price is surpassed the unusual number in the future, the mainstream medias for example on TV will just make a news about it so more people will be aware with the existence of Bitcoin. we can't judge other people but there are still many of them who have different notion when it comes to bitcoin. as they don't have first-hand experience, they can think of so many things out of the actual existence of btc. for sure, just asking around your neighbours will give you a hint that most people still don't know how to transact with btc. the population who are into crypto is still very small as compared to world's population. so there's no doubt you can still encounter individuals who have very different outlook in btc
