I was just checking out altcoin announcement section. There i found a warning on the top of the thread. why this error is showing up?

It's not an error, it's a warning. Go to their Profile page -> Trust, read the flag someone created against them.

It is just a warning mostly I have this kind of text when I was a lower rank before also upon exploring just follow what TryNinja said because you will give an idea what is the reason of this red tag. If you are having trouble what is the trust system you can check LoyceV thread LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system Im hoping that you already red the pinned post to our meta and beginners & help to get an idea why they have this tag. This text is just a warning still your decision if you want to take the risk.

This is about original bitcoin - and how it works if it is closest to what Satoshi delivered - locked down, but refactored to scale and use as electronic cash

Again, this is not an error. As clearly indicated, it is a warning. If this shows up, it simply means the particular user who opened the thread is someone whose reputation is questionable. You have been warned in advance so that whatever the user is saying you should first verify it yourself to erase any doubt and suspicion. While the warning is not saying the user is a scammer, it is also saying that a number of other users think otherwise.

Personally, I'd say where there's smoke, there's fire.
