You probably opened the wrong link, the site switched to another domain a long time ago, here is the real link https://forkdelta.app/ everything works.
It's not wrong at all. Etherdelta already stop its operation caused by this https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2018-258

Forkdelta has been running by another party other than the developer who already developed the etherdelta. It's not clear what was happening with the developer of etherdelta.
Forkdelta is a backup from etherdelta.

Well, whatever happens there, but this site works and you can trade on it as before.

Nobody checked, isn't it more profitable to trade here than on Uniswap? What is the commission?

In general, nothing happened, forkdelta is working, this is a fork of the exchange and in general I think that this is the best alternative to the current swap applications. Because everything is very transparent and the commissions are not that big.

I just checked the site and it seems to load endlessly. It's been a while since I last traded in that site to finally sell my earned tokens.
I am not sure what happened. I follow their Twitter account but it seemed that they haven't updated for almost 3 years now. Did an exit scam happened?
Someone mentioned that were is fork of the exchange so I guess it is still up somehow in a different domain.

It should be stored on etherdelta's hot wallet. I have some shit scam coins that disappeared along with the etherdelta consider after the allegation already made by the SEC to the etherdelta creator and then the founder was shutdown its exchange site and the users are not able to get back their shitcoin from etherdelta's hot wallet.
All of tokens were getting stored on hot wallet.

Well i guess people have moved on to a better and more advanced alternatives in the likes of uniswap, 1inch, etherdelta was a pain to begin with, it was the reason i never liked dex, because back then the interface was to shabby for me, nobody uses them again so what do you expect! and it doesn't seem as if the devs wants to keep the place running, it looks deserted.

Yeah that seems more to be the case now .Better dx's like uniswap and 1inch have better interefaces and easy to trade . But etherdelta was far ahead of  other Dex's and you can only wish they had developed it furthermore.

Good you brought this issue up, I remember etherdelta running an ICO which I believe many people invested at the time, I personally wanted to invest but due to some personal issues I was dealing with at the time, I couldn't, and ever since the ICO ended, nothing have been heard of the team of this exchange, neither was the exchange ever improved, they probably scammed leaving those who invested in their product to count their losses, it is true that no body uses the exchange but why didnt they use the money raised during ICO to improve the exchange, cus I know if they had, by now, the exchange will still be very relevant in the crypto community.

Etherdelta exchange is now obsolete, people losses their interest in them as many exchanges rising with good and huge trading volume.
I use Etherdelta before but it never makes sense now, unless if we are selling our shitcoins. But the problem is, we can't expect that it filled instantly because no one is buying from them.

This exchanger is now at worse, yeah, we can't find it beneficial to us. And soon, it totally disabled and no longer to see.

Very painful I lost money investing into their ICO, the team took the funds and move on, after their ICO, nothing of note to point to. I do believe in decentralization, we will likely et it wrong but with time we will get it right, decentralization is the future of the space and people are working tirelessly to building this.

I was wondering why would anyone invest in their ICO back then. It was obvious they were trying to squeeze as much money as they could from that situation. I admit back then, the idea was brilliant and they started a new era of trading, but it was soon clear there wont be any major interface changes which was not user friendly at all.

The fact is that I cannot access this resource at all. I have a constant download of data and EtherDelta does not open completely, not to mention linking my wallet to the exchanger. I have even used VPN and other browsers, but the problem remains. In addition, many users say that etherDelta does not work very often and has a fairly high commission, which definitely does not suit us.

Nope, both of domain worked i have seen and accessed for many times but suddenly i can't browse etherdelta though when i was confused about my internet connection may be slow because without high internet speed this exchange will not be open faster. Forkdelta is working good right now.

I never believed in all these super "decentralized" fuck* apps.

And now you can see I was right.
After all this page does not load on any configuration.

Why is it so quiet about this scam?

Etherdelta was charged to forkdelta, there were so many problems before this decentralized hype. The decentralized exchange problem is now transaction fees. As long as I can remember, etherdelta wasn't used since 2018, even forkdelta exchange needs 1000 DAI every month. Both decentralized exchanges are pretty slow. Why don't you intend to talk about other apps? So many scam centralized exchanges still exist that aren't used by smart users.

There's always a problem in the market, sadly, Etherdelta being the first popular DEX was not able to keep up the development so they got left behind, we already have uniswap now and that's what people are using so let's leave that site as I'm sure just like IDEX, people are not using it anymore.

Etherdelte is dead after the founders was getting sued by SEC but im still feeling curious about whether the founder of etherdelta gets jailed or not consider this happened a few years ago.
forkdelta is a forking from etherdelta. Both were the same and use the same hotwallet too. I guess if forkdelta was running by the same developers or may be a part of the old team on etherdelta.

I tried to find more and more news about etherdelta but it seems like i found nothing.

etherdelta is a project that has been abandoned and no one uses anymore but its api are still active in the new forkdelta version which has unfortunately also become obsolete by now the majority of users use uniswap and the various defi sites
True, on the whole both (etherdelta and forkdelta) are both obsolete and obsolete because they are considered no longer profitable along with a decline in both users, which now the average person prefers swaps in the form of DeFi even though the costs are much higher.

Etherdelta is dead and this is happening since SEC was suing the creator of etherdelta caused by it was running the decentralized exchange site that used for the criminal acts or not become transparent.
I suggest you to try forkdelta and it's still alive right now but it will better if you can try to use swap service rather than old dex like forkdelta consider about the liquidity is very small on fork delta.

I dont think that creator should be sued or blamed. Problem I see here is that creator was somehow linked to the exchange, so he was a central point of failure. SEC or whoever just pushed on him and it all collapsed. Bitcoin creators or developers cant be pressed like this. All they do is write code, they are not centralised point of failure.
