egpu for mining

Is there anyway to get egpu to mine? I heard they haven't appreciate in value compare to discrete graphic cards and some comes with RTX3080 in them, I'm thinking this can be a good way to get gpu at fixed or cheap price, what do you say?

Not all egpu are good for mining because some comes with nvidia quadro and they cost just 299$ but not good for mining I believe so you should be looking at the rxt egpu which are very costly, I don't know where you get the idea that you can buy for cheap price, for example this is RTX3090 egpu it costs over 3000$

Not worth buying unless someone sell for you at cheap price, egpu are costly from scratch, even one with a RX580 can be sold for 530$+ where as a discrete RX580 don't cost up to that at all, I can still get a RX580 8gb at 370$

Where are you seeing RX580's 8gb for $370....$529 is lowest i find for a new 580-8......that is in stock and can ship...no point in ones not in stock.

It should be the range of 370$ to 400$, actually I got mine at 400$ and many are saying I bought too high and now you say it's over 529$ ? That's not surprising 🤷🏼‍♂️ gpu price will keeps surging the more bitcoin keeps growing higher

I'm guessing he or she got the cards earlier before this month, in January I still see price for one RX580 at 360$ on ebay but it doesn't take some time before the graphic card vanished from the website, only 4gb versions are very cheap right now

yes you can if already had, but dont buy it for mining on laptop, to expensive, buy normal pc for mining instead

if raspberry pi can use egpu should be awesome i think compared laptop

These egpu are too expensive, why don't you just buy a cheap motherboard and gpu to start Mining? You won't be spending too much money on mining rigs like a single egpu, to me it's a total waste of money unless you really get for cheap price

Buying a pc and a gpu will cost you less than buying a egpu, their price may not surge since they aren't targeted by miners but already egpu costs than normal gpu even before bull season begins, if you can't get for extremely cheap price egpu isn't worth it
