     Honestly I thought last time that the pump was over but in the last few days I was so shocked to see that the price of dogecoin really did shoot up again and reached a very high price. I was really upset in selling early but glad that I did not buy again and was not carried away bu the fomo since just recently the price went down fast. Ut now, I am torn between taking profits or try my luck once more with dogecoin. But honestly I really do not think doge coin will be able to sustain such high prices forever since it really has no utility and waa made aa nothing but a joke.

Since dogecoin has gone from $0.138 to $0.437 in a matter of hours, it is not uncommon for it to exceed $1. So I believe it can happen; But the problem is how long this pump will last. Although dogecoin  is not a reliable currency, I believe it is only in support of Elon Musk and the manipulations are active as well.

The market cap needed for DOGE to hit 1$ is a big number. I think it won't happen so easy and fast. Being at 1$ it would put it at number 3 at market cap and I think that it's not likely to happen.

Currently Doge's value is sitting around $0.2998 at the moment of this writing which it isnt really that too far off if we do talk about $1 price and you are right that if this one keeps been hyped and tweeted

I once had a doubt about dogecoin reaching 10cents but now I don't know what to think of this meme coin anymore it's trading over 30cents I guess, now I have a feeling dogecoin can reach $1 for sure, just as you said with more Elon Musk's tweets we can see dogecoin reaching it, Elon is literally turning this meme coin into something else his followers are just so carry about any meme tweet about dogecoin.

The use case right now in doge is more on transfer purposes and gambling section. Would be nice if doge will be one of the top cryptos that will be included in the payment system of merchants. Their fees are relatively cheap than bitcoin. However, this use case is yet to be seen. Right now, the price is merely depending on Elon Musk's tweet, which is not very sustainable. We don't know the ulterior motives of Musk why he is doing it. Does he really believe in doge? What is in store for him for doing this random promotion of doge?

If Doge hits $1, many will start selling without question, what I sometimes think is Elon Musk wants to be Doge's strong hands and manipulate that market however he wants, maybe he wants to have a safe haven there for corrections of Bitcoin.

Even we have seen that dogecoin reaches its new all time high at .45$ mark, I dont think that it can reach that 1 dollar mark knowing that the circulating supply of it so enormous and infinitely many.

I was thinking same about the circulating supply, until it dawn on me that the cryptocurrency market is huge. Several persons see dogecoin as a joke because it lacks a real use case, but we need to understand that the market is bullish and decentralized meaning that the price could be pumped irrespective of whether the coin is useful or not. If dogecoin could get to 0.45 in less than a day, it could exceed $1 before you know it.

Yes you're right Doge is regularly pumped and dumped but I don't think people are only expecting tweets from Elon Musk to pump its price, they are expecting real actions in the real world from it. Elon Musk is an industrial entrepreneur that makes real things for the physical world, he has already allowed payments in Bitcoin to buy Tesla. So they maybe expect some real surprises from him in the coming months.

You say that but the feeling I get is that DOGE has all been about pump and dump. Lately, this has changed somewhat with lots of buys driving its price to new highs.

But I agree if real functionality doesn't become available for DOGE the momentum might slow down, even so the media coverage this coin has got over the past few weeks might even help it reach the $1 mark. Tbh at this point I wouldn't be surprised.
