I have found a trading bot in telegram where various crypto assets can be exchanged. This got my attention because I saw it allows deposit and withdrawal of Indian currency. The name of that telegram bot: @Chatex_bot. Can anyone verify that the trading bot is safe to us and anyone withdraws INR from that trading bot before?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I wouldn't trust a telegram bot for exchanging. If we have an option to get into reputable exchanges, I'll choose them better than that. Although it's quite giving us some curiosity about how it actually works.

I wouldn't gamble and bet even with any small amount on it. Just use a reputable exchange for doing your trade rather than trusting them with any amount of your money.

+1 with jossiel.
Most of the scammers are in Telegram now, especially those random bots who offer some passive income, which is totally a scam.
And now an exchange? What is that? An improved new way of scam?

We saw a lot of problems and issues even on centralized exchanges before, even those some reputable and have their own platform/website for trading. And now, you will just trust your cryptocurrency in just a not verified and random telegram bot? Very big no.

Decentralized exchange too these days is started to trend, why still use that kind of exchange, it is more worst than centralized exchamge for sure.

You can be very much assured that any such "Bot" on telegram is a risky thing to deal with. If you want to buy sell coins, go to an exchange not some random username on the internet who promises you to sell those coins. These things always end up with a scam and you will be sorry for being so stupid when you could have prevented it.

I can understand why they are targeting Indian users, since the current RBI news about banning crypto is creating undue panic among Indian bitcoin users to sell their assets and exit the markets. If this is the case do not worry, our Indian startups are very much active on social media and they are working to counter this type of bills. But such scam bots will be there to scam people who are not careful.

In case you need to trade, head over to out Indian section in this forum. Several users are there and trusted with previous deals. There are p2p and CEXes for Indian users, you just need to look in the right place.

I tend to agree with the comments above and there are hundreds of them that already busted and here is the list, List of telegram scam bots.

We know that this Telegram social media is a house of scammers, so if someone will offer a sort of financial request which is typically a line of scammers such as these.
  • Demand to send a fund
  • Allow to have a deposit but were most likely have a problem upon withdrawal
  • A sweet promise, such as "Dont worry, your fund is safe"

Can anyone verify that the trading bot is safe to us and anyone withdraws INR from that trading bot before?
A trading bot is far different in exchange and it will not surely allow the users to withdraw using a trading bot, unless if that trading bot has its own exchange.  I don't want to recommend any, just research your own legitimate automated crypto trading bot and should have their own system not using a third party social media account like Telegram, it seems untrustworthy to me.

I do agree that using Telegram bots for trading is very risky, but looks like Chatex is not just some unverified random scammy bot. I did some digging and seems like Dash partnered with Chatex to enable trade of Dash via their bot.
https://dashnews.org/chatex-p2p-cryptocurrency-exchange-telegram-bot-to-add-dash-with-instantsend/

Here is some more info about Chatex
https://chatex.com/faq/

That of course is not a sign of legitimacy and OP should due his own due diligence before using something as Telegram bot for exchanging currencies.

I doubt if this is real and if they are not high level scam. If you fall for it, you are already gone. I do not want to even know how it's operation is. I do not need anybody to tell me or anyone that it is a very risky thing to try. Telegram not, that's really funny though. I think we should stop look- ing for an easy way to do our stuffs. Mos times, this lead to a premium tears at the end of the day. While not take your coin to a reputable Exchange and do your transaction there and make your money that taking an uncalculated risks. That has the capacity to ruin you. Let us be very careful and always know what we are doing so we won't fall victim.

Dont think thats a legit one tho, could be a scam! There are lot of different way that scammers are using nowadays, they also go with the trend in the market so it will be easy for them to bait someone from their tactics. Never heard of this and If I were you, I wouldnt even trust or use it...

If you wanna buy cryptocurrency, use a trusted or a known exchange, dont just go with any exchange as its all about your assets... If you are looking for fiat to cryptocurrency, try to go with a tier 1 exchange which has OTC or p2p service...

If its about trading bot, there are popular trading bot like Bituniverse or cryptohopper. I already used both of it before but I would love to recommend this trading bot which is from kucoin exchange.. You wont get so much hassle as you can directly buy cryptocurrency like bitcoin then directly put it on their trading bot.

I was a tester for that trading bot from KuCoin so you can say I am someone that can prove its credibility, a lot of users in the kucoin community is actually using it now and has been making decent amount of profits. I've tried a lot of trading bots before but there's something in it that makes it different from usual bots like cryptohopper or 3commas because its made by an exchange. I seriously and certainly would want to recommend it to anyone I come across with.
