As if the fees really are a big hindrance for the gamblers, whatever the market situation, gamblers would still continue to play and enjoy. Besides, a 10 USD fee difference is not really huge, it will not stop them from gambling

For the usual gamblers, it doesn't matter. But not every one of us has that the same situation that we don't care about the fees. There are those small gamblers that a $2-$5 fee is already a big matter to them.

They are stupid if they will force using bitcoin. We have a lot of altcoins as an alternative, they just simply use it and their worries will be gone.
With some altcoins that you can pay less than $1 as a transaction fee, gambling should not be a problem.

I won't call them stupid but there really are gamblers that depending on it for their gambling needs and some casinos don't accept altcoins and mainly focuses with bitcoin.

trading is different from gambling so we should stop comparing it or making it like they should compe together when making a decision.

The logic is very simple, most gamblers do not really make money in gambling, most of them lose but they can be profitable investing in crypto due to the bull run, therefore they have a lot of money to burn in gambling.

There is an opposite side of it too. I have seen a user who was never in gambling but he started to gamble with his investment while bitcoin price dropped significantly last year. He thought that he could manage to make profit by gambling and it will help him to recover the amount what he had lost for the price drop. At first he was able to make few BTC profit, but eventually he lost all of his bitcoin and become so much disappointed. I remember, he said in the chat that he have no option left without committing suicide. Everyone tried to convince him at chat but don't know what he did later.

If I were you I wouldn't count much into some random chat messages. People can claim almost everything and in my personal opinion mostly this is just a way to gain interest of others to make them pay for you. This doesn't work in 99%, but in 1% they are successfull. This seems to be enough obviously. Dont waste your time listen to these chat messages.

While it is difficult to trust what you read online at the same time what he says aligns itself perfectly with many things that we have seen happening, after all while I was not really that affected by the crash that happened at the same time I have no doubts that there were people that lost everything during the crash and are probably considering doing something similar as not only they lost their money but lost even the money of their friends and family members.

It's very possible that they've loan or barrow money from their family or close friends where they spend everything into gambling, there's no other options and suicide for them is quickest solutions from this failures.

There are many similar actions and it's been shared here not just with gambling but also losing with trading, those kind of people who thinks that it's better to end their life than to continue trying to recover.

Bitcoin is struggling to break the $40k, it was supposed to be easy if the market is bullish, but it seems not already. A rise is good but we should not make an instant judgment yet to ride with it, we have to be careful as bitcoin has not fully recovered yet, it could fall again and cause panic, you know that's how the market worked, it's very unpredictable, so we have to be smart all the time.

Well, that could be the conclusion that we're no longer in the bull run if that's the attitude of it if it cannot be back on the $40k level again. But like today, it has broken $40k and I saw it. But that doesn't mean the bull run is back again.

Everyone must be surprised by the drop in Bitcoin price so far, imagine after Bitcoin managed to hit the ATH price of $65k. Now that it's under $40k,
it's only natural that people end up worrying about it. There's not much we can do, other than holding Bitcoin until the price goes up again. We can
prove it by holding for the next 4 years, whether the price of Bitcoin will rise much higher, in 4 years later. If in 4 years Bitcoin can go much higher,
it will be the luck of people who have bought Bitcoin from now on. Then with the increase in the price of Bitcoin it doesn't seem to affect some people

If they believe in bitcoin, I am sure they will still hold it, no matter what happens with bitcoin. But if they panic, that will be a different story because they will fast sell their bitcoin without thinking twice or holding for more. Even if the bitcoin transaction fee is now cheap, I think we can still use altcoin to gamble because bitcoin can increase anytime.

We hope this will end soon and we will see the bull run comes again. But if that does not happen, we can only wait and still buy bitcoin at a low price. But some people will still use bitcoin with the current price because they think it is a good time for them to try to increase the bitcoin amount they have from gambling. I am sure the pump will coming soon, and we need to prepare ourselves for that coming. We still do not know when the next bull run will come but it will be back to the market, and we have more times to wait for that moment.

Why not? I'm just sticking to the topic, OP asked if we are still playing with BTC or other coins when bitcoin was at  $50k.. so the main intention of the question is if we still gamble despite the high transaction fee or we shift to altcoins to save on a transaction fee.

So as a gambler, I suggest that you gamble more when the transaction fee is cheap so you can save.

The mempool has been quite empty for some time which tells me that we are still very far away from seeing a recovery, most of the time when we see the price going up there are a lot of transactions on the mempool waiting to be confirmed as everyone is moving their coins to exchanges, the fact this is not happening means that most people are just storing their coins, however if there is something you need to do with your coins or you want to consolidate some inputs this is the perfect time to do so.

Fees under 1$ won't hurt you so much if you will put it on a casino, You can regain it easily. What you will care about is the withdrawal fee that the casino set. It is sometimes fixed and it is much expensive than the actual fee on mempool. After months of overpriced fees, We are back again on cheap fees. I can quit now on using TRX for my casino transactions and go back into BTC.

Been an unusual sight to be seen since 1 sat/byte fee is something that you cant see often.I had experience 5-10 as the lowest for this year but not 1.
Im really much glad that made out some transactions with very cheap fees and not only on making transaction for gambling but also with some transferring
of my funds into some wallets since fees are way too low unlike on a very clogged network where fees is almost $10 each tx.

That is exactly the method adopted by a gambling site I once gambled with beside the crypto value is the USDT balance however as the value of the crypto drops so also the USDT value, in a bearish season it quite difficult for gamblers to make decent profits because their earnings also drops however if they continue to hodl in anticipation of the bullish season all well and good but if the bears continue to dominate the market, then the only option is to always  exchange their  profits to a stable coin.

I'm playing with BTC and my goal was not in USD my goal was to have more and more Bitcoin so it doesn't matter for me what price is the Bitcoin now my goal was to increase my Bitcoin but of course if the Bitcoin's price is increase it means that the transaction will increase too that's what my concern the most the withdrawal fee sometimes becomes expensive.

In terms of bet amount, no matter what price of the BTC is my minimum bet doesn't change at all.
