I think it will happen but slower. When many people buy bitcoin for investment then they will looking for profit, after bitcoin price reach certain price level then some of investors will sell it to gain profit. And when there is panic selling then some investors will wait until it reach the lowest price then buy it again. Bitcoin market always like that. But since the sentiments that influence bitcoin market is very good now then I think market will in good condition until few months or even years.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

hello guys we all know BTC price reached peaks an year after each halvening followed by 80-90% major price correction and so on after each cycle. i thought to myself it may be different this time since everyone expect this to happen again. <snip>
In the year of every past halvening the past history made some clear chat that the scenarios are likely to follow suit again in this current bull-run. We had some serious correction during the bubble when the market was corrected around the 30% but this might not be the real correction becasue we are still expecting the bigger pump for this season before the big bubble crash like what we had back in 2017. If Bitcoin price reaches the value of $200k then we might have another 80% crash, so, 2021 might not be different from the past.

I think it's different right now from back then because the price didn't move a lot at the last halving, the one that's pushing it right now is a lot of institutional investors which is a major improvement from the last bull run and with the news of tesla and mastercard will accept crypto as a payment option then we are advancing a lot in adoption progress so i think the foundation is definitely stronger than the last time and the price will still continue to climb.
Tesla provided a positive stimulus for Bitcoin's development. this is the beginning of the adoption of bitcoin which is managed by a world-famous company. Everyone is even currently talking about bitcoin after the new boom and Bitcoin hit another new ATH at around $ 48k. Maybe it will continue. But of course there will be some corrections that are faced. Bitcoin fundamentals are still very strong.

The 2020 halving have a difference, the price increase persisted up to this day.
That's how it has always been from the start. Check out this Pre-2020 halving graph. There's usually no serious drop after halving. I wish i was able to create a complete graph up to where we are today so that you can see the clear picture

With the involvement of institutional investors, the market will be different this time which is a good thing because predictability will lead to people getting less profit and making the market susceptible to manipulation.
Who told you institutional investors will only buy Bitcoin and HODL it? They will obviously sell off when they realize profits. Some will enter the game of trading futures thereby shorting Bitcoin at some points in time. Trust me, a price correction or bear market is inevitable. It's how the normal market works.
Don't get me wrong, Of course I would like Bitcoin to go higher and higher, but this is a normal market we are talking about. Not a ponzi scheme where only gains are expected.

With the current cycle it feels like bitcoin halving is thing of old school now! The investors who has jumped into crypto recently are the reason why we see such major change. May be we should stop looking at bitcoin the we way did few years back. I can literally see the changes in bitcoin these days, the way it moves, the way world is taking interest into it.

You are in for a shocker. Institutional investors buying Bitcoin doesn't mean the price will just keep growing minus any dumps or price corrections. Why do you think they are buying Bitcoins in the first place?
To HODL it for 30+ years just for fun?

This could be different this time but don't ever bet on it because some known accounts are saying that they're buying on Twitter and such, I personally see some minor differences this time in the whole sentiment of the market which could be caused by this pandemic and the concerns around financial situation and maybe Fiat currencies losing value.

But I'm almost sure that crypto won't have any long bear markets like the previous ones again, surely there will be some bear markets along the way but nothing close to what crypto already experienced in terms of impact on the, and one more thing is that I think $10k is the new $3k and will act as a strong support for Bitcoin which is great for the whole crypto market and specially faster worldwide adoption.

I'm not going to look technically. But fundamentally. Bitcoin's fundamentals today are completely different from before because nowadays some famous people come in with their projects investing hundreds of billions of dollars more into bitcoin. I'm sure it will get other institutions in as well. it will keep bitcoin going up and then stable at a price that we can't predict.
