The Bitcoin.com wallet allows you to use both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. It also clearly delineates the two. Roger Ver may think that Bitcoin Cash is the legitimate Bitcoin despite the wishes of most of Bitcoin's users and miners, but the wallet is not scamming the OP.
The whole of bitcoin.com is designed to blur the lines between the two. Quotes such as "New to Bitcoin? Download the wallet to get started." and "Already have a wallet? Buy Bitcoin instantly." are deliberately worded to make newbies think they are buying bitcoin, not bcash. They make up fake names for bitcoin such as "Bitcoin Core", which is not used literally anywhere else. They change the tickers and the names to deliberately confuse people who do not know better, as in the screenshot above. There are literally hundreds of threads on this forum, twitter, reddit, etc., from newbies who have bought bcash and only realized it when they have sent it to a BTC deposit address on an exchange or service.
The only reason to deliberately mix the two coins, make up fake names, and make things deliberately difficult to understand is to trick newbies to buy bcash. There is no legitimate reason for their actions. Therefore, it is a scam site.
blockchain.info or coinbase will be trusted.
There are both custodial wallets in which you do not control your own coins, and are both subject to hundreds of complaints, issues, and terrible customer support. Using either of these instead of bitcoin.com is a step sideways, not a step up.
