We can't even recommend which crypto you are likely to invest in at this point in time. Bitcoin and a select few altcoin currently have the highest price and that is something that could put your bankroll at risk. At least you have to wait for the correction before you start investing and make your own analysis to decide based on your own wishes. You should know what are the risk of investing and trading crypto, if you are afraid of losing then don't even try. You must use money you can afford to lose. Don't use up all your money, 20%-40% you should keep as a backup in case there is a correction and you can make a second entry.

I agree to what people say above - invest only part of your balance into cryptocurrency and see how things are going. Maybe your experience would be negative and expectations wont be as you dreamed. Dont go all-in right now. If I were you, I would invest 1/4 into Bitcoin, and few thousands into something from top15 (how ever I dont think that investing into top coins is the best decision) and wait. Maybe that will help to understand the market better and you will have a more clear vision where to invest rest of your balance.

Even though I believe people can give you good advice, I want to advise you to do some pretty good research on Alts you want to invest in, and like you must have known in crypto, "Never invest what you cannot afford to lose" so do not invest all your servings or earnings into crypto.

That said, I personally like BNB, Investing in it on Binance exchange helps me stake it or keep in Vault and earn some more cryptos which is a plus since I am more of a holder. BTC and ETH of cause are a good choice but I must say, you MUST understand why you want to invest, as in, are you considering HODLing for some time or just for a shorter time, I believe this will also help you determine what Crypto to invest in and what %tage of the fund.

Is the money the result of your hard work in the real world or your personal savings, or maybe the result of your work promoting previous projects? yes, whatever it is I'm happy to hear because you have a large amount of money. related to that, then I recommend prioritizing investing in btc first, say $5000 for BTC, $5000 for ETH, $1500 for INJ ,$1500 for DOT and $3000 for LINK. I can't guarantee this, it's just that it minimizes the risk of loss  if you invest only in the top coins.

All suggestions can be considered for you as they are all good suggestions and it is up to you to choose the right and accurate advice, or you already have your own strategy.
I personally suggest that you prioritize your capital to choose bitcoins which will definitely give you good returns in the long term and most importantly be patient, 70% for bitcoin and the rest you can choose 5 old and trusted altcoins that will benefit you in investing and all that must be based on good knowledge and research before doing it.

According to your personal text you seems to be bullish on INJ but you must understand that Defi investment are too risky and aside from that, the current circumstance of the market is not good for inexperienced investors and I will advise you to wait till when the market correction happen.
In the meantime, you can still invest and hold BNB on the Binance exchange to get some airdrop money and others benefit just for holding it.

I think Bitcoin is the King of crypto currencies. So, buy Bitcoin and enjoy the profits. Because you have a big investment so use this investment in a proper way so you will get good returns. Other coins runs with the Bitcoin movement. There are many good alt coins in the market such as Ethereum, BNB, litecoin. etc. But it is upon you in which project you are investing.
If you are a good trader then you can easily double your investment within a month or couple of months.

I would even say that right now given how much hype is there in the market towards Bitcoin, right now might be the worst time to invest into altcoins because I am almost certain that no coin or token will match the growth which the Bitcoin might see in coming few months.

I usually suggest investing into altcoins when the Bitcoin market is dull or going down since the prices for altcoins are overpriced right now. Even coins like XRP are doing good just because of the massive bull-run being experienced by the Bitcoin market. I do agree that defi is too risky for newbies, and too many newbies see very high APY and APR and they get involved right away, only to lose a lot of money when tokens drop in price instead of give a good return. However one thing I can't agree more is BNB suggestion, it is a great idea to buy BNB, because in the end even if tokens that are on BNB chain is good or bad, that will result with people having a ton of profit over course of years since even in bad or good tokens everyone will get into BNB to use those tokens, think of it like ETH and erc20 tokens and same logic.

This is why I think buying BNB will be the smartest thing anyone can make right now and price will definitely go towards 1000+ dollars in the future, maybe not in a few days but it will definitely be there in a few years at most. That is why I have bought a lot of BNB and it already brought me nearly 3x profit already.

Be cautious if you will just follow other's advice or suggestions as what if it failed your expectation.

Try to analyze and study how to allocate it by yourself as the only suggestion I can say is the set of coins for you to choose.

Always include BTC or ETH as a strong coin on your list. For altcoins should be ADA, BNB, IOST, Chainlink, Cardano.

First thing I would recommend you here is - Listen to everything and everyone but do only what you think is right!

There are some great opinions here but seriously its easy to advice others on what they should do with their money but everyone of us are hesitant following our own advice if the money involved was our own.

Like you mentioned, you worked hard for the 16k you have now for investment/trading so please be careful and I would suggest only investing like 25% of it initially and once you feel comfortable enough go for another 25% because in crypto you will lose money like crazy while also might profit like crazy but because you are new I suggest going small.

Some good coins I would suggest investing/trading with are - Dot, Doge (solely because of Musk impact), Trx and Ada.

Injective protocol can't be a good choice, they weren't legit in the bounty campaign, especially to me. Although circulation supply is much lower than the total supply. I won't suggest Ethereum, but Polkadot can be added to your portfolio. With a good ratio of your 16k investment, you could earn a huge profit. You must be a long term investor until the next bullrun finishes. EOS prices are low, even top altcoins.

I also think the same way about EOS, indeed if I choose a coin for long-term investment I would not choose EOS because I think there will be many better options to increase profits. It is possible that the potential it brings is not met at the moment, but if choosing for a long-term investment, EOS is also a not bad choice at this time.
