Hurray!" to those who held their bitcoins till now but I think there are hardly any who did that because every range higher was crucial to scare any hodler to make them sell their coins to the buyers that come under 'institutional' category. Anyway let us wait and welcome for the very awaited price of btc and celebrate it with our family once it crosses over it.

It's a great feat for the bitcoin community and a win to all. I still remember the days we used to talk about when institutional investors will step in and invest into Bitcoin or when we would see a much more bigger adoption. It feels good to know that amidst the troubles bitcoin had to go through, it still came out strong at the end of the day to prove doubters wrong.   

$50K milestone is a major resistance level that would eventually be broken in the coming weeks. A lot of people are keeping an eye out for this price zone. Don't forget support and resistance are magnet zones.

Last night I am actually in a verge of selling it in around 48k to but it crash down suddenly so I decided to wait again but I saw some lines reaching new ATH at around 50k. Touching 49,700 as new ATH, it could be possible that 50k usd and strong support level showed it.
 
 Ive remembered reading bloomberg analysts saying last year that bitcoin could hit $50k this 2021 and guess he made a good prediction coz we are heading it to that price level.

That move is really sudden. When bitcoin dumped hard last night all coins and altcoins are also done by more than 20% or some higher. Even my portfolio was deeply affected with this. But I'm not gonna sell at a loss, knowing that this could recover slowly. We are still on a bull season and this correction is obviously needed for a healthy market. Stay strong everyone I think market going there somehow on a bullish trend once again.

We all know that $50K won't go out in a single attempt. Its basically a very important psycholgical number just like $20K. So many people are putting orders at $50K and smart people are putting orders at $49.5K or so. And some shorters are putting stops maybe at $50.1K question is what will be the outcome.

There are basically 3 outcomes to this important level.

1) We topped at $49.7K and won't see it until 3-4 years later. Basically just like 2017 topped out at $19.5K, this is very similar since we all assumed we would at least touch $50K, the smart traders sold slightly below and will rebuy lower.

2) We break the $50K, go to like $51K and then start to reverse and start the next bear market. This basically traps both the bull and bears. Where the bears take a loss at $50K and the bulls go long at $50K and end up losing money also. There is a very good chance this might actually occur.

3) We break $50K and head to the moon. This is also possible. We broke $20K sharply and haven't even tested it once. So there is also a good chance that this might occur also.

yes its been good and pumping price for BTC now. surely it will be reaching as much as 50000$/ btc. many investors right now buying more bitcoins and holding it to another bitcoin pump, for me the main reason why people bought more bitcoin after paypal announce that they will engage more on crypto currency and possibly in paypal they will put a trading that usd can convert btc.

The market looks like it's following the 1st point and it's getting harder to go above 49.5k and stay.

The market crashed because of a FUD and the news was just nothing to worry about but the market is so fragile right now that anything can happen on any news..

I just hope that the 3rd outcome will become reality and we may see a new resistance at 75k$ or something..

That was close to $50k, but I am sure that it will break $50k soon. Right now, the bitcoin price is making a correction before it can break the next high price. So you need to decide what you want to do in this downtrend, and if you think you need to buy bitcoin, you should analyze before the price turn back to the high price. I guess the price can pass more than $50k in the next increase as we almost touch $50k yesterday, so it is better to prepare yourself for the coming. But if the price can not increase this month, you don't need to worry because sooner or later, the price will start another rally to break the next higher price.

Well it hasn't broken past it yet, I suppose traders are trying to observe and some has clearly left expecting that we won't break past $50k. I'd reckon that after breaking $50k though the market would be in quite an uproar and we'd see a bit of pump action there since half a hundred should be quite a milestone and everyone would probably reconsider if they want to jump into the bandwagon. Although it seems like the market is rejecting it right now with how it actually went down for the day, but hey, wait a week and who knows.

I agree, the bull season is not yet over and there is no point in selling out prematurely. There will always be volatility and market fluctuating up and down but this does not mean that the bull season has ended. There might still be a few weeks, maybe months left- know body can know for sure.

Upon reaching the 50k usd of the bitcoin I try to make a sell to my spot holdings and make it into the future wallets because I'm doing a day trading and there is a chance that the price of the coin today might give a good swing I always make the trade within the time of 1 to 10:00 pm UTC well I'm in the different part of the world so I need to adjust because most of the traders become active on that time. If the bitcoin price chart makes a different movement it's no surprise to me because the bitcoin is still dominating the market as you can see even the bitcoin chart giving you a hint if you are trying to check the 12 hrs chart still not going down instead holding to its pace for another reversal movement.

We're too near to reach this level unfortunately, Bitcoin failed to do so but there's nothing to worry about because this is just a pull back and I'm sure we will try to break that level soon. Bitcoin is indeed doing great early this year, this only proves that bear market is not forever and same thing with Bull market. We're still on the up trend, let's all work together and keep pushing the market up to the moon.

We are hitting the 50,000 dollars and another ATH happen again in the crypto and we make another history and we get benefits from this.I hope this bull run will continue upto 100k dollars but I think once it reach the value of 50k dollars others will sell and take the profit so we will expect a little dump and after few days or weeks again it will pump again like what happened in the last few weeks..

Of course. The crypto community is waiting to see another historic target achieved. The $50k level is important in many cases, so crossing this target would be a huge deal. Agree with you, there are a lot of sellers at this level, you have to see that they will start selling their hold bitcoin to take profit.

Anyway, I think we need some news or any other good push will do, because simply by trading and speculating it will be hard to cross 50k line. I think we are going to be on the same level as previous week - 47k +/-500 USD.

I don't think 50,000 is the limit for Bitcoin to grow. It is possible that someone thinks that we have reached this mark too quickly. Maybe it is so.
In any case, a good correction won't hurt. There would be a lot of new people entering Bitcoin for the correction right now. They would be the new fuel for growth. Now part of the liquidity will flow into altcoins. It's good. If then altcoins grow and update their peaks, then they will help bitcoin start a new round of growth.

I am looking forward to see the milestones and cheer on the price as i am holding some coins and i am looking to book my profit as well and i might be selling everything i hold and wait for the correction but no way i am going to enter the market when the price is hovering around $50,000. People who like to risk might enter at this stage but i am not taking much risk and investing anything further

Hello, high fees too. I think $20,000 to $30,000 is a growth we see that has good support. From that point, everything is drove by hype especially at starting $37,000, if I'm not mistaken, where Tesla announced they bought 1.5B in bitcoin.

I'm grateful for the increase but want to see another correction as I admit I'm not considering myself to buy Bitcoin at the current price. Let's be real here for my fellow average traders.

Now I think about the people who always Against bitcoin. What they are thinking now?  Lol

Their idea won't be change. I mean, why? Just because Bitcoin is now on a crazy price level?

It's not with the price but those people that against Bitcoin have a mindset of investment wherein the price has fundamentals and not just for dream high price target in the future. Even at $100,000 per 1 Bitcoin, I doubt the likes of Warren Buffett will change their view towards bitcoin.

We should not be getting used to people like Elon Musk (or anyone really) to tweet in order to go up, that would be fake highs and we need something a lot more permanent in order to actually be there. For example if it needs to be Elon, I rather him (tesla or spacex) to buy more bitcoins again instead of just tweeting about it, why? Because if he buys that will cause other people to buy as well, and when he buys he buys over a billion dollars, and others do buy as well so it causes at least 2 billion dollars to actually bought and holding, which helps a lot.

Of course it is not going to be that awesome if we didn't help him, so we need to play a role and buy at the same time as well. Rich people buying bitcoin is a lot more important than rich people tweeting or saying good things about bitcoin, words do not leave any mark whereas actually buying changes a ton.
