Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin?

They afraid about bitcoin because they do not know how bitcoin can affect their lifes, and they are not even know how to earn using it,  and most of them think that bitcoin is scam or something not real, or just and imagination.

If you have enough knowledge on what bitcoin is, and how bitcoin can change your life, or how to earn money using it, there is nothing to afraid about bitcoin because you will become more confident to use it to make money.

Please be mind that we are now in 20th century ? your reason is far from the start of Bitcoin presentation in the market in which people think it is scam ,
But world now are having knowledge in computer and they already Knew what is good and bad for them, the problem people are afraid of Bitcoin is that they cannot estimate the effect and the progress in their daily living,
But soon they will finally realize what they are not trying now is a Loss in their chance in improving their living with the use of crypto technology.

Simple, people afraid of things they don't know same thing like how some people in the past think a camera could suck their souls out and etc. Not to mention bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is all about finance, people most afraid of losing money so they gonna stick with their old idea of how money works.

Being afraid to the bitcoin is normal because we know that it is volatile value or unpredictable so people are scared in investing but actually if you know what is the best to do in the money you invest for sure you will be calm and you will gain more profit if you invested to the bitcoin and not afraid but maybe why other people are scared because those money is for their daily needs which is wrong because money invest is the extra only..

Those people who never go out of their comfort zone will never grow, just like ordinary people sticking to their traditional belief on earning fiat. Bitcoin to them is a treat, is a risk that they will never do because they value their money so much, so they will continue to think that it's a scam or anything that will not do any good to them, but truth is it is the other way around.

They are afraid because they lack of knowledge about Bitcoin. They don't want to accept the reality of it therefore they are always going to deny the fact that Bitcoin is much more amazing and profitable than storing fiat in their bank accounts.

Now it is more about mindset really as getting bitcoin right implies to get so many different topics altogether which are: game theory and the why miners keep mining without ever think of attacking the network; economics to understand the bitcoin deflationary nature, its fixed supply etc.; time preference and why bitcoin is hard money as opposed to fiat "bad" money. In my opinion, ordinary people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin, because they are not familiar with Bitcoin. Because most people are unlikely to invest
in something they really don't know. Moreover, media announcement is sometimes misleading by saying Bitcoin is widely used for illegal activities.
This makes ordinary people increasingly afraid to invest in Bitcoin. Therefore it takes a famous person like Elon Musk to provide positive information
related to Bitcoin to ordinary people. so that ordinary people are no longer afraid of Bitcoin.

Staying out of Bitcoin doesn't automatically mean they are afraid. Some people are just so aware of how risky investments are and Bitcoin is no exemption. They've rather choose to run their own business. Not everyone has the same mindset like us who finds Bitcoin as an outlet in hopes to acquire financial freedom or become rich.

Biggest factor is the volatility. For those who are new to bitcoin and don't have experienced yet a big price fluctuation, they will definitely panic when they see their investment lose when a correction or massive dump happens. While there are some people that are afraid of bitcoin because someone scammed them by using it as an investment scheme. With the big companies now investing in it, more people now are starting to get curious and know for themselves what is really bitcoin and what can it do.

The thing is many people are often scared of what they don't know or have no knowledge about, they just assume btc or crypto is bad because of what they have heard and read, if only they can spare some time to acquaint themselves with btc they will love it and be glad they are part of it.

Ignorance does affect the ignorants and the ones that are with them. It seems, so far, we are sharing this piece of land called Earth with awakened and ignorants (depending on the contexts). We better educate each other, or we all will get affected. No matter how rich a person becomes, how much priviledge you got, we will always rely on each other.

You have already called them names: "ordinary people", how would they not feel afraid in a new market that need cautions, even the old guys are still much afraid of the downs and ups in the market. We shouldn't pretend to say we don't really understand what happened to the last sect that invested into Bitcoin 2018-2019, even the sect before this ones, these season has created more fears in the heart of many concerning this technology called Bitcoin.

The more similarities we find with those ones that, for many reasons, don't believe in BTC yet, the healthier the BTC ecosystem becomes. Unless we´re trying to create a religion, we should leave the derogative adjectives aside.
"Ordinary people" are born, develop themselves in different aspects (including Crypto and no crypto fields) and die.

When you are just an ordinary person and don't know what Bitcoin is, it is hard to believe, especially if you have no digital trading experience.
Most of the time, just like some of my friends who don't believe in Bitcoin, they can't believe that this kind of profit can really be made just by investing in cryptocurrencies.

What convinced me was when a buddy of mine found some old thumb drives laying around in 2017 or so, with about 30 BTC in them when the price hit like 1k per coin.  Thrilled at the rewards found, he sold.  Heck I think he only paid 3K for them total.  He traded it for SOLID GOLD coins and I handled the stack of Gold coins he got.  That convinced me that Bitcoin was worth something and worthy of looking at.

lol, I know, just think if he had kept them until today?  Well, the same goes for any investor today with the prices being discussed as hitting 100K and beyond.  You can either act on this or stay and watch the world go by without worrying about it.  No loss.  No harm.  But don't get jealous of those who had the guts/fortitude to hold.  That takes serious restraint and deserves to be rewarded just like everything else people invest in hoping the value increases.

Just like BTC, the stock market isn't guaranteed to make anyone rich.  But there are those things called "blue chip" stocks that have proven over time to be prudent and wise investments.  Still no guarantees as any of those companies could go belly up at any time.  But once they become an institutionalized part of the economy for the value it brings then it's much harder to fail.  BTC is headed in that direction today.

In fact, bitcoin needs 51% for a take over, in history, it takes a much lesser % of total people to conquer the world. Loo kat Germany and Britain. -Insufficient knowledge towards crypto?

Reasons on why i do saw people feel afraid of it but if they do just simply learn out the basics or information
of it then i dont see any reason for you to get afraid.

I think many people thinks  bitcoin is something that really not legal . Or not secured for life. Some people can not understand this could be fake . Or LOOSING money . This may be biggest afraid  of bitcoin.

It depends on what do you mean by saying ordinary people. In case ordinary people that just work in ordinary office from salary to salary, so such kind of people do not like risks and prefers something that is less but stable. In case you mean ordinary people that haven't invested at the very beginning of yhe Bitcoin or invested in the decrease times, so they may have lots of personal reasons. And it seems to me that even examples about Google, Amazon and other examples will not help much. The only thing will work - personal motivation and strong desire to change something in their life.

One reason might be that people are afraid of bitcoin is that they don't know anything about, excerpts from gossips is not exactly a good relay for information. It is natural that you are afraid of something you don't know, but to dispel that fright of the unknown, the only thing that we can do is to face it head on and look for answers to our questions, if there are people that are sharing information about bitcoin in a neutral standpoint, I think that we can remove this fear surrounding these people who are afraid to take a leap of faith. If there is a light that will guide, people will walk through the darkness.
