I think they are afraid of losing. While some people don't just believe in Bitcoin. They thinks Bitcoin is scam. They don't even research on it, because, if one research about bitcoin and knows it, he/she wont be afraid of Bitcoin. I know one can't basically understand everything about Bitcoin at once, but with time, you will definitely know how it works. And also, doing some research and reading articles on Bitcoin also helps. I can confidently say, bitcoin is not dangerous.

A Bitcoin can be lost very easily if people don't care. Most people have a hesitation to look into Bitcoin's complexity and stay off instead because of fear of losing money.

Many people always see new technologies as evil. I remember someone telling me how he thinks 5G network was not good. Many people don't also believe in Bitcoin, they see it as scam. I think with time, they will understand better the benefit of investing in Bitcoin.

I think it's the initial reaction for someone who has zero knowledge to fear Bitcoin, I myself back then used to have doubts about Bitcoin, later on realizing how legitimate it is and how big it will be in a few years, looking at it now, Bitcoin is still feared by some people, but with technology advancing and people slowly learning how important Bitcoin is or cryptocurrency alone to a lot of people.

There are many reason why ordinary people are afraid to invest in bitcoin and one of them is the lack of knowledge and interest in investing. It is not easy to convince ordinary people to believe that bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme or some other fraudulent investment that they have heard so many time before that they feel that bitcoin is also one of them. I argued with one of my friends about why he wasn't interested in investing in bitcoin a few month ago and the nonsensical answer I got from him was that bitcoin is one of the biggest money game today which is hard to believe.

Neither doesnt really tend to take some risk or totally dont have any idea on what it is but if you are really serious on making investment then this wont really be a viable reason for you to take.

There are several factors too like being too illiterate when it comes to technology on which it would really result into hesitance or being afraid on engaging into things that they have firstly
