I've got two A921 units with dead fans and I'd really like to use them as space heaters since I'm having to run electric heat in my shop anyway. Need two replacement fans if anyone's got 'em; I'd rather not have to wait for China to come back from vacation in a week and then get shipped overseas. I've got 120mm fans from just about every model of miner to ever use 'em, but nothing for the big 140mm these take.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

3d print or make an adapter and use 120mm 10k rpm 4pins? 140mm oem is a tough find.

Maybe one of these would work...

https://www.newegg.com/noctua-nf-a14-ippc-3000-pwm-case-fan/p/N82E16835608048?Description=fan&cm_re=fan-_-35-608-048-_-Product

Probably lower speed than stock, but if you're going to try to run lower power to keep the noise down maybe it would work.

Other options seem a bit too expensive:

Have some dead Bitmain 17 series hashboards or full miners?
I'll buy them ... send me a PM with what you have and I'll make you an offer!

These seem to be hard to find from somewhere else than China,
for good price.

AVC DBPC1438B2H (one model that I know Canaan has used),
I only found listings in Aliexpress and some other Chinese marketplaces.

Delta PFM1412DEB7V (one that I found to be comparable with the AVC one),
this has quite good availability but eg. Digikey asks 54 bucks for one.

I'm building a DigiKey order today anyway, may just add a couple. Thanks.

One more thing to mention, that while looking at the Digikey site,
I also found Sunon PFE0381BX-000U-S99 which is also comparable and about ten bucks lower price than Delta.

Yep, those two are definitely the best options in their selection.

Did some extra checking and the fans are fine. The problem's in the drive circuit on the control board so yanking the blue line brings 'em up to full loud 100% with no out-of-pocket.

Anyways, I no longer need A921 fans. Closing the thread.
