I would be in a lot of trouble if it were now around $ 50,000 and then suppose next month it fell to $ 20,000. the impact for altcoin is very worrying. Obviously this makes it like dropping 5% of the moon to the earth, is there anything left? maybe, but the effect is too broad.
bear market it is very possible for us to take more bitcoin, but will it reach $ 20,000? we will see a lot of losers.

That only if I can figure out what will happen next, definitely I can tell something. But I/we can't and what we goona read now is purely just prediction.
But if we base on the current market trend, I suppose not to think dumps will happen next month. Though it seems possible, however, the market is still on the uprising trend, many investors were still coming pushing the demand to get high, and the bullish continued.

If the price history cycle is to be replicated, then Ethereum is also bound to be affected by a plunge in the Bitcoin price, though I don't expect a significant plunge, just few corrections, but if there happens to be any, I still wouldn't consider any altcoin as a hedge to Bitcoin, I'd comfortably still hodl my btc, and wait to see how the price bounces back up.
Having said that, there is no use speculating on the bear market, for users who are short term Investors, they can always withdraw their ROI now that the market is on a positive run, and for long term investors, it doesn't matter if the bear market starts next month or whenever, they'll just wait out the cycle, till it's time for another ath.

Yep ripple will be the biggest impact if the bear market comes. I don't think if there is an altcoin can survive in the bear market seems all will be affected even Ethereum will be also dump just like the bearish market before in the year 2018 all coins were down.

I agree with you, even with a big bump in the bitcoin price we should be able to survive. The price jump of bitcoins over the last 3 months is insane. We all got rich very quickly, so now we need to work on keeping the money and diversify into good alt coins. |

nope, because its to early for the bear market to come back mate, i think we will see the sign from the bear market in Q2 of this year maybe bitcoin will fall hard abut i think the price will stay above $30k and ethereum will stay above $1k but who knows mate, because its crypto, sometimes everything is unpredictable |

Even if this happens, you should stop and calm down. Perhaps the next bear market will be a great opportunity to buy coins at competitive prices. Always be on the lookout for investing too early or too late can have dire consequences.   Many in crypto market feeling we are going to have bear trend in next few weeks but my feeling is completely different because its unprintable market and any thing can happen no one can talk about this what is coming as right now we have adoption in bitcoin its really great so this showing we will have some good trend in bitcoin and crypto for some long time with this all. |

Well if such a situation arises then all coins will correct and collapse but i do not see it as of yet because it is the time for the dawn or the rise of the market and i think the situation you are pointing out can be expected from second half of next year till then market is ecpected to be bullish. |

Does it means an altcoin will survive in the side of price? I mean its price movement remain stable not dump like another coin when bear market comes? I don' think so, most crypto currency price will follow bitcoin price movement, give me one altcoin that has a good price movement when bitcoin price is down it mean in the bearish market? I bet there is no single altcoin which can do that. Take a look at a year ago before bull run market came, ETH price was touched $35 at that time although there were so many DeFi token already. It means, it doesn't matter how good the altcoin function is its price will dump when bitcoin price dump.

Definitely well-established altcoins will survive.
If we track the past history many coins were unable to recover back after the bearish trend, but establish coins managed to overcome and survive the bloody market.
Some coins who only increase because of bitcoin hype might fall hard if btc had a correction. Bearish market is inevitable and will happen soon.

for the popular altcoins, I think they will still be around. it's just that, we don't know how far the price would go down if bitcoin prices were below $ 20k. It is very likely that a massive crash to the stock market is coming shortly. I think a lot of $$$'s in the SM will be directed towards crypto and Au/Ag/Pt as a safe haven from the loss of confidence of the traditional forms of wealth creation and storage. I think we may see some pullbacks, but I think crypto is in a massive bull market.

It's difficult to picture BTC dropping so fast to $20k because of the number of institutions investing in it. However, just in case the bear market starts, altcoins with high market value such as ETH, BNB, DOT, and a lot more might not drop to their lowest point. Especially BNB which I think has a lot of supporters since it has a lot of use case and benefits for holding.

I have a strong feeling that if the bear market happens XRP will still manage to survive knowing that plenty of big institutions all over the globe are partnering with ripple. Also, I have in mind that EGLD, DOT and LINK are going to survive as well when bear market takes place.

if this were to come true, maybe no altcoin will survive. all the coins will fall, and that will be very bad. but I'm sure that probably won't happen. because the altcoin season is just starting and the bull market still has a long way to go. after all, the state of the market today is very different from previous years. We've seen a bear market after every bullish streak so far. I think this can happen again because no graph is always the same direction.
