If you talk about copper membership then:
1. you are sending funds from your wallet, not the wallet.
2. the recipient address is generated especially for your account, hence some software will know that it was paid for your specific account

By upgrading the account you mean to buy the copper membership ?
Before buying that, can you tell us what is the exact reason for you to upgrade your account ? Do you want to publish your service which requires you to post images ?  Remember that in most cases you don't need to upgrade account and continue your free journey here.

Each member gets a unique payment address for cooper membership. The administration will have no problem registering your payment if you make a transfer to the address assigned.
