So I have just spent a day downloading the blockchains with bitcoin core and its up to date. When I run armory it doesn't scan the transaction history. Any ideas on why?
I am trying to recover and old wallet from years ago really curious to see how much I have.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Check your Bitcoin-qt if it fully synced? if not then you need to let it run and wait to download the recent block. Because you can't be able to use the armory wallet if the bitcoin core is not fully synced.

Or if it's fully synced but the bitcoin core is set to pruned mode then your armory will not work properly.

The prune block storage setting is checked and set to 2 GB and I have to re download the entire blockchain again if I uncheck that  Cry.

Well, that's the only solution if you want to use the armory but if your wallet still in the armory wallet there is another solution if you don't want to download the entire blockchain.

Thank you soo much I would not of been able to figure this out on my own. Re downloading and I'm at 12.5 % but i can not wait to see how much I have. I remember years ago having .3 or .7 of a bitcoin that will be life changing if I can get access to it. Much love
