Hi guys
Seen a lot.of these lately they are small and thin, only question is r they suitable for a mining rig say running 5 of these ?
Any one had any shortcoming from this card for mini g ?? What hash rate should I expect per card for eth ??...
Hope someone can help before I buy more ...
Thanks,

Good card for mining , you can get 60-62MH/s on ETH mining with a little bit of fine tuning But ... if you can buy a 3060TI , you can get the same hashrate , for much lower price . Please dont be that person who buying over priced GPU's from scalpersThe question is, worth to buy those cards for mining ? HERE is a good reading for you, if you did not read that topic yet

its absolutely ok , but you probably need to fine tune each card separately to get the max hashrate out from each card. Fine tuning each card separately is strongly suggested anyway for max performance, even if all cards are the same, from same manufacturer .

@Aliitp
You have got too many rejects on GPU2.
Model Clocks Hashrate Pwr °C/Fan 0: Zotac RTX 3070 8GB 94.04.3A.40.67 1170/7861 60.15 MH/s 110 W 43°C / 0% 1: Zotac RTX 3070 8GB 94.04.3A.40.67 1095/7861 59.93 MH/s 110 W 40°C / 0% . . .
I can go higher but this is for me a nice Hash / Watt Ratio.
With this settings you can run 3 x 3070 for 330 Watt and 180 MHs compared to a 3090 with 320 Watt and 120 MHs.

That's me , not him ( or her ) , just noticed that pc ( actually that is my test bench) is rebooted almost 3 days ago, and loaded a different OC profile for that card, not the stable fine tuned version for that 2 rtx 3070 Thanks for the warning

why set your 3090 to 320 watts to get 120 mh = 2.667 watts an mh it can be set to 290 and get 114.5 =2.53 watts an mh much easier on the card.

When you aren't power restricted or conscious people can afford to run their cards to the limit, specially while the rewards are so high. I myself am Like you and prefer the best hash to watt ratio.

Thanks,
It's good, in fact it is one of the best 3070 card out there, it runs cool, low power with good oc ability (don't know i'm lucky or not, but i have 3 and all is better than the gigabyte eagle oc one), and it's slim so it will take less space. You should expect 61 Mh/s from each card. It's suitable for mining rig if you can't find 3060ti anywhere but if you can get 3060ti for cheaper then i say go for the 3060ti one because they will hash at the same rate.

@xxcsu
Sorry was early in the morning. I have got a bunch of different 3070. A safe overclock is 7860 MHZ on the RAM. The higher i go the more cards produce rejected. (Only a few but 2 of 100 are like 1.2 MHs from 60 MHs) It takes days for the fine tuning, checking rejected after a few hundred shares.
My compare to the 3090 was just to show how good the 3060ti / 3070 are, compared to the 3090. I dont have a 3090 (sorry), only 3060ti / 3070 / 3080s, sticking to 3060 / 3070.

I take 3060ti 3070 3080 3090 5500xt 5600xt 5700xt 6800 6800xt if i can get them at no mark up or a small mark up. I also want them from real sellers so i can get warranty service. at this point in time the cards are all marked up. 20% or more.

Can the AMD 6XXX bios modded like the 5700s? Talking about RAM timings. I have seen 64 MHs for 135 Watt or around.

Lol. Dude, you can choose GPU manufacturer when a dump-time. During pump time, if you decided to buy GPUs, - buy everything you see, because 30 minutes later it can be late. In 2017 i thought what GPU is better in colling, what in mining, what is cheaper... Then my friend bought 1080ti for $700 and i bought the same 5 days later for $900. For all past time - no one GPU had any critical different from another.

Thanks,
Almost all my gpus are zotac brand, they are less bulky in size but works very well, the cooling part is why I like this brand and also the team did amazing job for putting thermal pads on every IC chips on the GPU, I mine at 56°c for days without going higher than that number which is awesome, go for the Zotac RTX3070 you won't regret it

PL55 = how many Watts? We talk about 8150 Mhz RAM, is this correct?

This card is very good, it's energy efficiency I could have buy two RTX3070 instead of buying 4 gtx1660 super, the two RTX will net me 120-124MH at 240 watts while the 4 gtx1660 super is netting me 126MH at 320 watts, as you can see the RTX wins here, less power consumption is what I needed the most because I'm running on solar power
