I have 1 Lealana BTC that I received as payment a few years ago.  I'm looking to sell it for a 10% premium.  I'm in MIA.

Hi mate , it would be best if you move this over to collectibles - all sales/ auctions for coins etc happen in that section of the forum

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0

It’s worth having a look in this section as it will show you previous sales of the coin and should give you a good idea of current price etc.
Anyway good luck with your sale  Smiley
(You can either move this thread over or lock this down and open a new sales thread in collectibles)

Hey mate, you will find this very difficult to sell, as the funds cannot be verified, which is a real shame I know. But because of the way firstbits works, a buyer can never know if the coin has actually been funded. Sucks but you will probably have to peel it and sell it. Shame cause we don't see many MS-69 Lealana's, I know cause I've been looking for quite a while!

Is there not a list of wallet addresses for these coins?

I missed the fact that the slab and coin state BUYER FUNDED quite obviously.

Agree with Room101, you're unlikely to find someone to purchase this coin from you.

Not even the Smoothie funded ones as far as I know, let alone the buyer funded. Would love to be wrong though, if anyone else has more info!

Except you can't know that for sure. I could buy an unfunded "Buyer Funded" coin, use an address generator to generate identical firstbits but different overall address, fund that, and no one would know the coin had not been funded until they peeled it. Without the entire address, it's just not possible to know for sure. Took me about 8 hours to generate my vanity address:

I agree though, it is a beautiful coin, but unless Smoothie releases the Buyer Funded address list, you would be mad to buy it as funded.

In hindsight, smoothie should have funded buyer funded coins with some dust so that they appear on the first bit address locators. Or he could release the full list of addresses. Latter would have been better for everyone.

I wouldn't entirely, agree with that statement. I have bought quite a few different varieties of Buyer Funded Lealana coins with associated addresses from the original owners or the official resellers of the Lealana coins. Everytime I did that I randomly pick 1 or 2 coins that I load and redeem to ensure that everything looks good. My point being if you are buying these from know original members or the official resellers, you should be comfortable with buying and loading thee if you like.
