When to sell BTC: $80K, $100K or $150K?

I will hold my bitcoin for long period as Iong as I dont need money yet. However taking profit at times are always present, this is to ensure that I can enjoy some of my earnings while waiting for a high price to finally sell.

We are still in the first quarter but the price of btc already touch $50k. I think this is the year of bitcoin (and other altcoins as well) to soar high as much as it can, so I guess its possible that we can reach a $200k value (hopefully) before this year end.

Somewhere between $58,000 and $1,000,000. If you're planning on guessing price ceilings and planning on doing the "sell now at $x to buy back cheaper" strategy, then get ready to get rekt.

That's the reason why I encouraged my friends to hold as long as they don't really need that profit that much today.

If you really know that bitcoin can reach any price and can increase anytime at this moment then you know what to do.

Don't make transactions as long as you you really need it or you don't have any other sources of money to sustain your needs. Just hold and wait for the right time depending on your target or goal, especially if you are a bitcoin investor then you should wait for the best time to sell your coins. My goal is when bitcoin reached $1,000,000, it seems impossible but we never know.

I don't care if it takes too long, i'll be patiently waiting for that to happen.

I think the top price Bitcoin will reach this year is likely to be $ 100k. Seeing Bitcoin's performance getting better,  looks like a price of $ 100k
could be reached later this year. And I am sure that there will continue to be more companies investing in Bitcoin, so don't hesitate to hold Bitcoin
that we have. Even now I still allocate funds every month to buy Bitcoin, so that the amount of Bitcoin that I have continues to grow. The thing is,

That is on you when you miss the opportunity to sell at a high price and then the next day the prices go down dramatically. I am not saying that it is bad to not sell at a high price, what I am saying is bad is when someone passes up on the opportunity. To me, $150k is not the end game too but if it ever goes past that point, I wouldn't be greedy as to wait for an eventual drop in the prices.

Prioritzing the needs from does that's not necessarrily, if you work it out well then the turn around with your investment might be positive. Keeping your asset that's belong for your long term investment and have a separated one for your other plans is far better than keeping it in one place.

Oh well, that's possible! remember last year when value returned from the last time high, people are afraid that it will turn back and heavy dumped might happened, but by looking for it now, that's turned back is by far. Bitcoin momentum still strong and by keeping portions of your assets till you reach your target is really wise decision to make.

of course something natural if there is a correction experienced by bitcoin and I agree with the friend above, that it is something normal and maybe aims to be more able to strengthen bitcoin to get strength so that it can trigger it to go even higher.

If I'm the one who's holding enough quantity of bitcoin, I don't mind selling today while price don't reach so high. Btc currency became stronger as year goes older, so it's not a smart idea to dump because it's really good to earn your gains when price falls at $100k. I have some early profit planned since 2013. Then some pre-crash sell. Then a buy back when at the bottom of the crash.

It's hard to predict just follow the buy low sell high strategy it always work, sold when you realized a profit then buy on the correction, or you can HODL and if you already had 505 profit then you can sell it or HODL for a longer time as long as you are comfortable, with your investment and you can accept losses.

You are right, waiting for a price is an option that must be managed, by the time the target arrives not to sell it all at once, it would be good if when the target touches sell 60% and let profits run, of course by moving the stop, this is the best way to extend your earnings.

In cryptocurrency market it is not possible to identify what will be the maximum price our assets can reach so its your choice when to sell and buy. In my opinion 58K is more than expected so I will be happy with that price of ATH for this year.

I think the top price of bitcoin this year will be $80,000 or around $70,000 I have a strong feeling that it will make a new ath in which it will goes $60,000 and eventually will hit on $70,000. There is a huge possibility that it might happen especially on what we are seeing right now that the hype of bitcoin and other coins are still continuous and also the dump of what happened today and yesterday are still part of a correction and doesn't signifies that the bitcoin will eventually continue to dump. I can’t really say yet how much Bitcoin’s price will be at before the year ends but my guess would be around $60k. Or it could reach a new ATH of around $80k and go steady around $50k-$60k. But I still wouldn’t be selling my bitcoin though, will still hodl them for a couple more years.

The price of btc is getting down now. I think it will last some more days. It is not a good time to sell our valuable bitcoin if we want to earn huge money. We should wait patiently until bitcoin hits at least $100k.

It's just normal to have a price correction it's just like when Bitcoin hits the $42k before then slowly dropping back to $37k. But look at after those dips it started to break new ATH and began pumping up to $58k. This move is just the same from the previous pump so I expected to see a new player(probably) large institutional investors getting in inside the bandwagon that would probably gonna break $60+k. As long as the volume of Bitcoin doesn't drop the price will continue to be like this above $20k from the last ATH of 2017 bull run.
